cold feet
cold feet
We have a 2003 screw that will not blow any heat (air) out the floor vents at all,no matter what setting it is on.It will blow the defroster most all the time. The vent works. We were working on it earlier and now the floor button seems not to be working. Any ideas? thanks
I am having the same problem with my 03 Screw 4x4. Does yours have the electronic HVAC controlss or the *****? I have electronic. It has been cold up here in Vt the past week or so and would love to be able to get some heat on my feet. When I set it to Auto it blows only out the defrost. I can put it on floor and it continues to blow out the defrost and I can set it to vent and it will blow out of the vents. But when I put it on panle floor it blow out of the defrost again. So I have no idea what the problem is.
same thing
I have a 2003 kingranch with the auto control eatc, mine is doing the exact same thing, defrost and vent ok, when switched to floor it goes to defrost, on the panel/floor also it goes to defrost. It is very frustrating and cold on the feet. Only sometimes when coming to a stop or sitting idle it will work for awhile, any help on these concerns would be greeeeaaaat!

Two things I would check first
1. Check your unit to see if it is working properly, buy "borrowing" another EATC from another truck and see if the problems are the same.
2. Check the blower door to make sure it is shutting or still connected to the cable or tube ( not sure which one it will be on your truck)
I had a similiar problem with my SHO, turned out to be a blower module...thank god, the blower door would have been a nightmare job.
Had the same issue with my 88 work truck, but just wound up swapping cabs and interiors, so no longer a issue.
