A/C blows only hot air, 134a is recharged
2000 Ford F-150. When I attempted to use the A/C this summer, all that came from the vents was a steady stream of hot air. I checked and recharged the 134a, even though it seemed at acceptable levels. I have checked, I think, all of the fuses, too. I am unsure on what the issue is. Can anyone help out?

Blendor is common in these so lean heavily on it bieng kaput. Some can tell by hearing flapping, but when mine went, tested the controls (fine) then because it let in no cool air at all, like stuck in hot, figured as much as the dealer reported.
Pull of the blend **** to make sure that the is actually turned to the cold side. These ***** are notorious for cracking on the back and slipping.
It's around $5 for the **** at the dealer.

the blend air door,, its the door after the AC evaporator and before the heater core that allows full cold, full hot and anywhere in between to mix and then exit the vents.
The blend air door is servo controlled.
The door and motor are probably fine.
The electrical rheostat in the control head is probably bad.
Easy to replace.

I think I am having the blend door problem on my 92 F-150. Anyone know where there I can find some type of schematics or instructions on replacing the door? I would just like to know what I am doing before doing it. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks,
Bernie

I hoped you were correct, but the **** is fine.
After messing some more, it seems that the unit varies the temperature a bit. When I turn the AC to hot, it is extremely hot, yet when I turn the AC to cool it is warm at best.
