Anyone have this unit or heard anything about it good or bad? I have read some reviews on the net. Thanks!

 

look over at avic411.com. I have the Z2/Z3 and I love it. I've heard that the U3 was a great unit but I've always liked the Z series

 

Just installed one in my wifes convertible mustang this weekend. I like it a lot, the blue tooth works really well, mounted the mic on the steering colum and you can hear her even as she drives with the top down (haven't tried the highway yet though with top down, only top up). Some people really don't like the limited number of POI's installed, I haven't used the POI feature in my Brandmotion unit I have installed in my truck for the last two years so that's not an issue for me. I have the IPOD connection run to her glove box. It's nice to have the auto muting feature for phone calls and when the nav system is doing audible directions.

 

I have this unit in my supercrew. If you have any inkling of getting a nav system get the double din pioneer nav unit instead. I love the unit as it has a lot of good features, but I miss having a navigation system.

 

The U310 is a Pioneer double din navigation system?

 

Yes it is but there are other models that I like better than that one.
