Anyone with a Double Din in a 97-03

if n e one has pics could u please post them up.....i just wanna if theres a gap in the dash at all....if its only a small gap then im not concerned...thanks

Our trucks do not have a true double din space, there is a decent amount of trimming that has to be done behind the dash. There are also spaces that have to be filled for it to look right. All-in-all its worth it.

yea just wanted to see wat people were using for the gaps......i have no problem ripping apart my dash for it lol......i have a ****ty no name brand single din in there right now that skips wen i go over bumps that came with it wen i bought it....its killing me.....im gonna be getting the alpine iva-w203....i'll just pick up a peice of plastic and cut it in....thanks mang

word....did u guys just get a piece of plastic and cut out the shape?.....im not sure if i wanna go all out and fiberglass it or not

Metra sells a dash kit to fill the gaps. Or you can just cut a sheet out of abs.

yea....im not sure if i wanna go with a dash kit or mold it all in with some fiberglass........the dash is pretty streamlined for the most part and then it sort of dives in at the radio.....we'll see tho....thanks guys

question if f87f-18c868AC CD fits in 97

Does the newer ford cd units physically
fit into the 97 slot without modification?
I understand I need an adapter cable for the
connections.
