fordnoobie,
I guess we just need patience. Anyway, you said that you had the wiring diagram? Could I get a copy from you.

Thanks,

As soon as I figure out how to post an image, I'll put it on the forum. Any help on this item would be appreciated.

My local dealer ordered connectors that he thought might work and they are correct! The Ford part numbers for the Audiophile connectors are as follows:

3U2Z-14S411-DLA: Connector w/ leads that plugs into head unit
3U2Z-14S411-CAAA: Connector w/ leads that plugs into sub/amp

I should have the system working this weekend.

WISH I HAD KNOWN THAT I NEEDED TWO HARNESS. I WILL HAVE THE OTHER HALF MONDAY. SO FAR THE HARDEST PART OF INSTALLING THE AUDIOPHILE SYSTEM IS THE REAR DOOR SPEAKERS (YOU HAVE TO REMOVE THE COMPLETE INSIDE PANNEL)
THANKS FORDNOOBIE FOR THE OTHER PART# I NEED TO COMPLETE MY SUB HARNESS. ALSO YOU HAVE THE PART# DISCRIPTION REVERSED IN YOUR LAST POST. LET ME KNOW HOW IT WORKS OUT.

I posted the wiring diagram at:

Also, BINK360 I double checked the part numbers and the descriptions I gave earlier are correct.

Good luck to all!

Fordnoobie,
you are correct, I called the dealer today and verifed the numbers. Now, once I get these connectors, if I take it to an audio place with this diagram...should they be able to hook me up?

It took me a while to figure out how to get a picture on this site, so I may not have done everything correctly. The picture was an 8.5"x11" TIF file. I had to convert to a JPG in order to post on this site, but it still should have been 8.5"x11". Have you tried opening in an imaging program and enlarging before printing? Is there anything in particular you have a question about?

FYI, I made a harness today and hooked everything up. It worked like a champ and I am satisfied with the outcome. I wasn't looking for anything that would rattle the windows, but that sub can really rock if you want it to and I was impressed with the sound quality coming from a factory system.

BINK360,

I had to dig the bags out of the trash, but here is what I used:

WPT-667 = 3U2Z-14S411-CAAA
WPT-219 = 3U2Z-14S411-DLA

I hope this helps.
