Thumbs up Harley-Davidson Modifications - In Detail

Starting a new thread to document all those modifications that everyone is doing to their Harley's. Please place you truck modifications IN DETAIL here for all to read and replicate..LOL

I have alot of experience customizing trucks (mostly Chevy and Imports) and I always find better ways of doing things online.

I plan to start doing upgrades to my Harley soon. I have a digital camera so I can document most of it here.

Del

P.S. Any addition to your trucks is good information. Items such as: Hard Covers, Headlights, Taillights, Air Filter Systems, Drop Kits, Interior Goodies, etc, etc.. ANYTHING....

What is a good product to use to safely clean the engine bay? I have had my truck for 6 months and I thing it is about time.

Ordered a Flex-a-Lite Electric Fan "model 270" . They will be shipping soon. That mod should be good for another 10-15HP's

Just FYI, anyone looking for performance modifications for their new 2002 supercharged Harley model can give us a call, we already have bolt-on parts and custom tuning available to take that truck just about as far as anyone would want to go.

The 2002 Harley model responds to most of the same basic treatments that the Lightnings do, so there are plenty of proven performance modifications available, just about anything from mild to wild can be done to these trucks.

If anyone would like to go over in detail what kinds of modifications are available, and what it costs to take the vehicle to whatever performance level you want from fully docile street machine to the full treatment and anything in between, please feel free to give us a call.

Congratulations to all you lucky 2002 Harley owners, how I wish that model had been available when we got our Lightning!

Enjoy your trucks,

Hey Deacon,

Do you have any dyno #'s are track times for your truck? Would love to see what that MagnaCharger is doing for you!

Outnumbered

First of all, CONGRATS on your new 02 HD.

I had her dynoed before the headers and the 7 lb pulley were installed. However I plan to have her dynoed again to check the A/F ratio before I get the 9 LB pulley, and the superchip reburn.

Man, dyno numbers (HPRW & Torque RW) will change with the weather. They don't carry alot of weight with me...

BTW I will be running her at the track soon. I keep you posted

As promised, Here is my first mod..

Added a K&N air system..

Adding the system was straight forward and all the accessories were included. I did notice that I had to re-torgue the clamps about a 1000 miles after install due to normal expansion..
