Thanks. I think max's posting history, dedication to question answering, and love for Ford and basic engines demonstrates that the chances he just up and decided never to post here again without saying goodbye are slim to none.

I won't email him, since I don't want him to get 15 emails saying, "Hey, are you dead?"

Mr. Webmaster, thank you for that little bit of info! If Max made the decision not to post on this site anymore, I guess will have to live with it. It would put alot of people at ease though, if he would say HI and that he has not passed on.

I think we can all assume something happened, maybe not death, but something. Granted, I'm sure many people up and decide never to post here again, or move, or go on vacation to Europe for a year, or whatever. But anyone who remembers the verocity of Max's posting record (which BTW keeps him to this day in the top 25 posters) knows that it is not very likely he would answer some install question in June just like normal and then never post again without saying hey I'm selling the Ford, or hey I'm moving....

I didn't know the man, but I did enjoy reading his posts, he was always very helpful from what I remember.

This goes to show how precious and vulnerable life really is
