you people are funny. arguing which is better, old muscle cars, or new imports, and all the other stuff you're talking about. i'm into both scenes equally, and the fact is if you like cars, you should respect them all for what each offers. i'm a "youth" (haha i don't understand why ya'll keep saying that, what "youth" calls themselves a "youth"? haha) anyway, and i respect cars from generations when i wasn't alive, and i respect what the new imports and domestics can do, and what they can be modded to do. it just sounds stupid to dog either one, makes you sound like a close-minded whiner.

 

Alright, I'll bite!

I love the raw power that a V8 generates, but remember, size ain't everything, it's how it's used. Formula 1 cars are 3.0 liters, V-10's, putting out gawd-awful horsepower, redlining at 18,000 RPM.

For pure raw power, I'll keep my superchargered Roush SuperCrew. For daily driving and reliability, give me a Honda or Acura any day. I've had one, my wife had one, and my parents have had a total of 6 Honda/Acura's. They never see the inside of a shop, except for an oil change and regular service. I'm going to replace my wife's Volvo with the Acura MDX, 'cause we're sick and tired of taking the Volvo in for some kind of repair every couple of months.

 

ok I am the youth around here (20) and I must say, the ricers have their spot...in Japan. I love my truck, no L but it is still very nice. There is no replacment for displacment. All 460 cubes of it. The problem is the 10mpg. So I decided to get a 4 banger, I looked around and still ended up with domestic. Can anyone say escort. Anerican steel is just superior to forign.
