I'm seriously considering an Ford extended warranty. Any pros or cons with purchasing one from www.FordESP.com?? Any other recommendations? Thanks.

 

You can only purchase one if your factory warranty has not expired....

 

I have the Ford Extended Warranty, singed up at delivery time. Wish I had it on my 1996 truck. Then again if I had the extended warranty on my 1996, I wouldn’t be driving this new 2001 F150.

Before you buy, let me get home and post a tel# for a dealer that sells them 50 over cost.....at least give him a call and get a price before yo buy..

S'CrewLoose- Thanks! I'll give him a shout tomorrow. My truck has 34K miles and just found out I (2nd time) have the cylinder head oil leak.

 

I will end up buying one from him, I do know that it will cost you $100.00 more for mileage....good luck...

 

Just make sure what you are buying is the Ford ESP. Dealerships also sell aftermarket warranties. To make sure, ask if the warranty is honored at all Ford Dealerships.... if it is, it is the Ford ESP.

Yes, it is a Ford Product. That is the one thing I made sure of....It Is A Ford ESP.
