Who was or is in Military?

I was in the Air Force from 86-90. Inactive reserve til 94. Got called back for Desert Storm but was not needed.
I was an Electronics technician (99104) and spent my time in Sacramento on McClellan AFB (now closed).
Loved my job but pay was poor.

U.S. Navy 1978-1987. Aviation Elctronics Technician. Supporting P-3 Orion (Patrol Squadron Eight) systems for four years, then electronics calibration the last four. All at NAS Brunswick, Maine
I look back on the time more fondly than I lived it. Although I miss Maine, ALOT.

jined up in 1960 to 'avoid the draft'(what was I thinkin' of ). Went thru Parris Island as a reservist--graduated as a PFC(supposed to be hard to do?).

Trained( aircraft electrician) in NASs in Jax., Willow Grove and then back to NAS Jax., Florida. Active reservist until my 6 1/2 years were up. I 'missed' Viet Nam--heated up later.

Yahoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Just completed my 20 years the day after Thanksgiving

Active Duty Air Force

Assignments:

Anderson AFB, Guam
Langely AFB, Virginia (with 7 1/2 months of Desert Shield/Storm)
Ramstein AB, Germany
Onizuka AS, California
Nellis AFB, Nevada.

Don't regret it at all. The military has been good to me. Sure has gone fast. Not sure how much more I'll stay in though, anybody hiring out there? I'm a fast learner, lol.
