Aviation Electrician/Aviation Maintenance Technician, U.S. Coast Guard, 1991-2000.
HH-65 and HH-60 flight mechanic.

Going back in reserves this summer.

Location: Keflavik, Iceland (Ohio native put here by Uncle Sam) but going back to Nashville, Ga in 4 months.

yes i was with the 44th ! 85-88 --- i was on crew 4 i think?
that was a long time ago. my last name is Swain and get this i'm in Ga. too ! nats and all (why did i come back? i should have learned the first time, and like they say it an't never the same !!!!!) who we got there?

I spent 12 years in the U.S. Army, from 1979 - 1991. Six years active and six years in the reserve. I had a great time and actually enjoyed it. I was only stationed two places: 609th Trans. Co. Hunter Army Airfield, Savannah GA. and 501st M.I. BN, (SOTAS), in Katterbach Germany (west). I was a helicopter mechanic, working on Hueys, Chinooks, and OH-58's.

well, we never worked together, but i do live down madison avenue from mcclellan. i grew up down by mather.
langley and kunsan, huh? whew, that musta' sucked eggs. i worked with those f'in loaders from the 1st over in dahran doing line-d and were they the worst weenie boys i've ever worked with!
