Saying goodbye to my Ford

It sounds to me like you need a new wife, not a new truck!
If you two are at retirement age, you're NOT going to like living in a cold climate like N.H.! You should be moving south, not north!

My wife declared a "3-car limit" four cars ago.....
Personally, I would say there is a VERY good chance I will move North in my retirement. I won't go so far as to say I'll move all the way back to Minnesota, but my wife and I lived in the Kansas City area when we first started out and both felt that was the best weather climate we had ever experienced -- four defined seasons, but none so severe you felt you had to escape the insanity!
Houston summers suck -- Minnesota winters sucked -- Kansas City all year round was just right.....

To each his own. I worked in Homestead, FL for 3 yrs 8 months and I loved the weather there. Winter lasted about 2 weeks! I do remember riding my motorcycle to work in 40 degree weather. I also love the clear water to go snorkeling. The water is clear from Ft. Lauderdale to Key West and south. Too bad the crime rate is much higher there.
