My father became a lifetime member when he turned 18. I think he said it was under $100 back then. He still gets the american rifleman sent to his house..

So! Just like Social Security, those who join now support those who've been here for a long time?

BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Sorry! I just couldn't help myself!

I'm not a life member, but I do belong. I think the NRA does a lot of good for the causes I hold dear. I also belong to the GOA. They also do a lot of good in my opinion.

I guess you could count me in Richard D's camp.

Maybe you need to pay 10% so some lobbyist can tell that to a lawmaker, I don't. A letter, email, appearance at their office, or other means can accomplish the same thing.

And really, if you want someone to "move along", don't follow that with a question as if you have somehow "won" in your attempt at internet dominance. They might come back and make valid points that you have a hard time disputing.
X2 I think the same as signmaster

To answer your question Gun Owners of Americ (GOA), Second Amendment Foundation (SAF), and Jews for the Protection of Firearms Ownership (JPFO) to name a few.

Ask to be put on the NRA's no mail/no promotions list and you're golden.

As much as I have railed against them past, they e stepped it up in recent years.

I am a life member of the NRA. I don't always agree with them 100% all the time. But I don't always agree with any organization/club/political party 100% of the time.

Overall they are the best and doing the most to protect gun and hunting rights. That is what is most important to me!
