stinks, hey $400 leason learned, in the grand sceam it only money and not a crazy amount.

this is why i dread selling anything, i dont want people at my house.

i love the guys that have the service people come out when the wife is home and they are at work, then get the service guy on the phone, tell hiim how to do his job and complain about the price then go back to work and leave an insulted, p.o.ed man in your house with your wife.

in this day and time you must be carefull who you let in your "save" area with your family and posessions.

I bought a pickup on craigslist long ago and had the seller meet me at my credit union's lobby.. After I saw papers and drove the truck I went in and made a withdrawl from my savings and counted it out to him after he signed the title. the credit union even notorized a bill of sale for me.

Sorry for your bad luck, I actually sold some Harley parts and let the buyer in my garage and he got to see all my "stuff"... I kicked myself after and thought I will never do that again! luckily I never got hit up...

Who steals lawn chairs...
I had a break in on my truck a few months back. Parked in home depot for 5 minutes. Thief moved my expensive tools (Li makita drill/impact, hitachi framing gun, mag skil saw etc...) to steal my sub/box. Took my tools off my backseat and set them on my front seat.... genius. Made a report and about 6hours later they caught the guys a few miles away trying to use someone elses stolen credit card. Sub was recovered but the box had been thrown out. I appeared at court to testify so they would be prosecuted. They also had charges of possession of methamphetamine, aggravated identity theft and some other charges. Some real winners.

I walked out to smoke about 1am last year, seen a guy duck down behind my truck...walked back in, grabbed the AR, walked out and snapped the bolt forward...Never knew a white guy could run so fast...

This really sucks, but I would never ever ever meet a craigslist seller or buyer at my home. Even if I met anywhere else I'd be packin
