Hello to all from a complete newbie!!!

Hi everyone,

Back in June I order a Transit Connect for my job (bathtub reglazing). Perfect size, fuel economy, price, etc. But Ford can't deliver, it's already a month and a half late and still somewhere on the Atlantic (or beneath it as far as I can tell...).

So, as I really needed a truck now, I decided on getting a huge fiberglass cabin on a pickup. I know the F150 by reputation and have known a lot of happy owners of them. I drove an F250 on a summer job about 25 years ago.

The truck's coming in on Thursday and I'm incredibly enthusiastic about it; much more than I was about the Transit. Just went to see it today and I'm impressed. XLT, black, chrome!!!!!!!!!!, single cabin, back-up cam (I parallel park all the time and won't be able to see with that Fiberglass cab).

I'm glad I've found this site as I'll be needing all sorts of resources and advice and, I admit, I'll have all sorts of stupid questions (I only just found out that it was a rear-wheel drive... I thought it was, but wasn't sure). So please keep the bashing to a minimum, or put a smiley at the end of it... I promise to read your posts and pay attention to your suggestions and I will get better at it!

A-J

Hello, I'm new too. So far this site has been very very helpful. I bought 2003 F150 about 2 months ago and I absolutely love it.

I'm not quite sure from whence that animosity toward me came, but thanks for proving my point, cRaptor. You're always helpful.

See, A-J? CRaptor ain't a newbie at nuthin'. He done gots 9000+ posts on a Ford truck site to prove it!

A-J, if you like a good cyber-feud, have thick skin, a sense of humor, and every now and then want to know a little something about your truck, you'll love it here!
