Hurricane

I hope everyone will be safe with the hurricane coming up the east coast. From what it says right now it looks like it will pass right over NJ.. The wife is talking about taking the kids out to pa maybe a little west of here just to be save..

See everyone on the other side

James

Here in Florida (45 mins from Jax), if you asked about Irene, the response would be either "What?" "Who cares" or "That lying sonofa*****!"

My chief has issued us a warning calling for staging of the stations when it gets close and my only worry has been about my plane. I just went down and pulled her tie-down straps nice and tight!

Va and Nc are in states of emergency. They are already having voluntary evacuations here in southern Va. Spent the last day and a half hurricane "proofing" my house and yard. I hope everybody makes it through with no injuries or property damage.

Bad thing is, I'm more worried about my truck being outside than me in my apartment that was built back in the early 1900s haha.

Stay safe everybody, don't take any chances if you're in the path of this. Life is too precious to take chances.

Right now I'm so happy the owners of my apartment building spent the money to install generators for the whole building.

You all shouldn't be too bad. It is only a category 2 now and by the time the eye hits it should be a category 1. That is little more than a thunderstorm. Heck I don't even board up unless it's a category 3. Enjoy your time off and stay safe.
