My kid felt it in Baltimore. I asked him and he was like is that what that was? Just moved there from San Diego. So him and his wife are used to them. He said he didnt think they were supposed to get them there..

I felt it in PA. Didn't really think anything of it until I heard what it was at the gas station on the way home.

What's more interesting, is that there was a 5.3 quake just west of Trinidad (near the southern border of Colorado) last night too. THEY don't normally get quakes of this magnitude either.

Maybe our planet is about to break up into a bunch of asteroids!

Bet that'd make us ALL pee!

Epicenter was about an hour away from me. Pretty crazy feeling, shook the hell out of my house, but all is well, not even a crack in the plaster.

My 2 y/o daughter slept right through it!

It wasn't an earthquake, it was Obama's ego collapsing under the weight of his failed policies.

Meanwhile I am literally living on a fault zone...but in the middle of TX so it doesn't look to be much of an issue.

They're a possibility no matter where you live......example Mitchell, SD in the 0 zone on the map.....3 earthquakes in the last 5 years.....nothing higher than a 5.0 but still they happened.....

I was going to say: "It's Obama's Fault!". But, please don't make me move this into the P&R forum.

I'm just happy everyone seems OK.

Seriously, it could have been much worse, so I hope all the potshots are taken with that in mind.

Felt it here in Raleigh, NC... nothing major, just some shaking. Felt like standing on a bridge when an 18-wheeler rolls by.

My wife's family have a lake house in Mineral, VA (epicenter) and said it shook like hell for a little bit, but everything is OK.
