I've been pulled over and I was immedietly accused of having weed, which I never would of in the first place, because of my long hair! But he let me go without a ticket so I struck gold!

I gotta ask.
You struck gold because you didn't get caught. Does that meaan you had some weed. [not that I see anything wrong with having weed. But that's how I read it]

I did have to ask though

lol. I like that.. ahh thats called discretion. Just to explain a bit, and may be some of you I think , will understand, When you get stopped on a traffic violation, in MOST CITIES, Its a violation. which means the cop, I, have complete discretion if I decide to write the ticket. There is no law I am aware of anywhere that says I HAVE TO ISSUE IT some agencies even have warnings. Its a violation, the lowest form on a scales of justice.. Its not even classified as a crime, cause there is no jail alternative.,,And yes I did get a summons..ticket.. form the South Hill Virginia police dept, on a sunday a.m. With my two young kids in car for 74 in a 35..WHEW!LOL,. AND WROTE IT FOR reckless driving, which elevates it it a misdemeanor. Was I wrong.. definatly!! Buy was he a **** when he came to my car. enuff so the kids said '' daddys hes a mean cop, not like you''... No special favors. In fact the ticket, besides money, could have cost me two days pay on my own job. ..

Did I read this correctly?

The sentence structure and syntax left a lot to be desired and as a result misunderstood.

You were doing 2x the speed limit with your kids in the car? Not really something to be laughing about if you ask me.

Kinda reminds me of this without the kids in the car.

Reports state he was doing 30+ without lights and sirens. He was on duty and will be tried for manslaughter and rightfully so.

If I read that wrong, my bad. Please explain my error.
