I don't think Palin will run unless there is something I am not aware of.
I don't think Trump would have made it through because he has a big record of giving money to democrats through out the years.
I like Ron Paul, too many people are turned off by libertarians though...
If Paul Ryan would run, he would whoop Obama in economics which has been the number one concern since 2008.

He has strong republican support along with many libertarians on a financial front.

We could certainly use a man in DC with some business sense. Too bad Trump is such a flake. I also like Ron Paul but his chances are slim and none. He doesn't have the flash that wins votes. Afterall, it's not the person platform anymore or his credibility, it's a popularity contest these days. Ron Paul is just not pretty. Now Christy from Jersey, he might be worth a look. But if the Republicans want to get serious about a candidate to stomp Obamas but in the dirt where it belongs, they need to start looking at Rep. Allen West from Florida. I've had the opportunity to hear this man speak and he says the things this country needs to hear.

I find it amusing that we have people chime in on threads like this who call themselves democrats, or liberals, to tell us which republicans they "like". Though less amusing is the liberal medias ability to actually choose the republican nominee, like they did with McCain. I suspect they will do the same this election. Our only hope is that there are more people paying attention to the blatant agenda of the main stream media. I guess we will see, though it appears that there is still a large segment of our population, and even some people from other countries, who continue to be duped by out current "messiah".

I think if Trump hadn't been Trump so soon in this he might have looked pretty good to people. Like was said in a earlier post, its a popularity contest these days. It's sad that nobody cares about policies and platform anymore. I believe that it's time for the libertarian party to step up. They have to get someone that can carry a popularity base.
