Destructive Device?
Kennesaw, GA. One of the lowest crime rates in the country.

We have a forumite that lives there, wonder if he'll be brave enough to venture into GD and enlighten us to his mandatory gun handling practices.
On the second part of your post:
Frank, once they let you out of the home you'll be surprised how much life has changed.... disappointed, but surprised!

instead of getting rid of guns they should just make the punishments more severe that way when the honest out doorsman or collector has nothing to worry about. That way then the cops do there "shake downs" when they see a known criminal or gang banger that looks up to no good and has a .38 in his pocket, drop the hammer and put him away. That might make criminals think twice about carrring one. Guns will never go away as they shouldnt but nothing wrong with punishing the criminals right???

Keep the insults coming Serotta if it keeps you from blowing a gasket. I'm all for helping society.
As usual, you jump to conclusions. No mention of having to "carry" anything:
"Kennesaw, GA. city ordinance requires that all homeowners own a firearm and ammunition (Sec 34-1a). No one has ever been charged with violating this ordinance. An amendment exempts those who conscientiously object to owning a firearm, convicted felons, those who cannot afford a firearm, and those with a mental or physical disability that would prevent them from owning a firearm."

I was just trying to be a bit comical in your reference to living in the past. Things change, you should try to keep up.
I really do believe you are correct when you mention the way kids should have been raised, but that is water under the bridge, live and work with what we have.
You remind me of the person who moves to an area and immediately begins telling locals how they did it back in ______ (fill in the blank with a town or state.) Live with reality and the present.
No, they don't force anyone. There are exclusions for people that object to owning a gun. I found this website that has the story behind why Kennesaw passed this law. Its good reading. It was actually done in response to another city banning guns in the city limits.
