Dodge/Cummins upgrade

Looks like they got there 6.7 tuned up to 800 now.. Hp is still 350 tho. It'd be interested to see it pulling with the Ford 6.7.. With the upgraded drivetrains. Just fyi.

And they're gonna be using the 6.4 450hp in the 2012 trucks i believe. Can't stay on top too long unfortunatly

Yeah but was that before tehy recalled the fords for the little tune change to get 800ft lbs? I'd say the ram would prolly outpull it also. The I6 is just a better, more efficient configuration for pulling.

Idk i thought i read something, it might have just been a rumor but some review article i was reading one day said that there best time with the 392 challenger(6.4), stock is 12.29 at 470hp. That car is so heavy, thats underated is the rumors and common sense of course. So if they do put it in the truck they are saying 450.. Don't know how underated that would be or if at all..They have a new v6 out that is replacing 13 motors..Its pretty high tech from what ive heard, like the exhasut manifolds are built in..can't remember but its supposed to be very strong and i heard rumors that they are talking about twin turboing it like the ecoboost. It already make 305hp tho. Pretty exciting no matter what, as long as it isn't overseas foreign crap..

pickuptrucks.com did a test of the HD trucks, but they clearly stated their 6.7 Scorpion did not have the software upgrade, so it was still on the 390/735 tune.

Truckin' supposedly did one, but I can't remember the outcomes.

Who cares? They are all awesome. Toyota and Nissan dont even dare build a 3/4 ton truck...

The new engines are sick but with all the emissions crap its gonna be hard to mod them as heavily as the older engines. As far as diesel goes I still would take a 7.3 ford or a 5.9 dodge over any of the new stuff.

No matter what they do to it, it still sounds like a damn 6 cylinder. Plus its in a dodge, with a dodge transmission.

The six cylinder engine design is the best dynamically balanced design there is except for a V12 which is two 6's.

Yep an they are known for how good they sound, especially when you put straight exhaust on them like every jackass that has a cummins.
