I'd really like to have one too. They had a LOT of problems with this gun when it first came out. Jams, Misfires, etc.

I've been waiting for them to get the issues worked out before I get one.

I read the same thing about misfires and jams I was kinda weary about that also so as soon as I got home I worked the slide about a 100 times opened and closed and worked the safety about 100 times from fire to safety then fired 50 rounds through it without any problems. Im taking the wife out to shoot this weekend if its nice and run some more rounds through it.

Awesome gun regardless
I guess we think alike.... I will probably go with the G26 with a +2 extension. I did have a Glock 19, but now I am very much a SIG guy... I carry a P228 LEO weapon and LOVE IT..!! Its just too heavy for the summer time. I was looking at the P250 but I'm not crazy about the DAO (although it was very smooth).

From my reseach, I'm looking at the following "summer time" CCW subcompact weapon.. in this order.... unless someone suggests something else to look at. Now I just need to fire them...

1. Glock 26
2. Springfield XD9
3. Sig 250

On the full size guns and the mid range (compact not Sub-Compact) I totally agree. I just don't like the way the baby XDs feel......I know that sounds weird but the G26 should great for me. I don't know why.

I have a XD 45c and two 1911s I'm a .45 guy. but the way that G26 shot it was very controllable being a 9mm

I'm gonna take a look at the S&W 380 at next gun show. Is there another gun out there similar to the specs that has integrated laser sights?

Ruger LCP with laser its about 100-125 more from what I've seen and it doesn't have a safety like the bodyguard.
