NASCAR is slowing down Daytona speeds

Saw this on Nascar.com

Pretty interesting... maybe it will break down the square dancing we saw too My only fear is some of them may push the cars too hard and blow the engines

damn, the excessive speed was the only way to control Florida's inbreeding. Time to get out of dodge

I think it would break up the drafting a bit. They made a good point: the temps were in the 40s last night, so if the 500 is warmer and they all have to run the lower temp water systems, they would have to spread out more. McMurray (I think) said he was running the set-up they were switching to already.

i figured they would lower the speeds. I noticed during the bud shoot they were running around 206 mph a few times.

McLaren is making the FI systems for Nascar starting in 2012.

The fuel injector system for the Ford 2005 5.4 3v engines is fine, it's the actual injectors that are possibly at fault. You post as though you are misinformed.
