I know what you mean, honest.. I switch back and forth between Bing and Google. Nothing growing on me yet.

Yea, that's the favorites bar I believe. I get some use out of that as well. Glad IE8 has it.

Just hit Alt+B. You can also set up a dedicated bookmarks tool bar. You can also press F4 to enable panels, then hit the "+" and click on bookmarks - you will have a dedicated bookmarks panel on the left. There's a LOT of neat things in Opera, you just have play with it and find them.
