I just don't think these guys were wasting their time hunting out an unsuspecting couple to pull this on.

If they reserved the room under the names Chris and Pat, then showed up on their door and pushed the envelope then for sure they are trying to bait someone.

Are the gay guys pushing the matter too far at this point that the place is not in operation...yeah I'll admit they could let it go with some kind of agreed settlement where the old couple agrees not to discriminate in the future if they reopen their business.

In the end, I understand the old couple saying, I don't approve of that in my home and denying them access. The problem they are not realizing they blurred the lines between their home and their business. I am of the opinion that when they hung a shingle out saying B&B, they gave up their control of the home where the B&B is located.

Obviously if someone came in with meth lab equipment, this would be illegal to do and they can turn them away. If some couple came in and invited 40 of their friends up and caused a disturbance, again they can kick them out. 2 gay guys doing whatever they do behind closed doors isn't illegal and as long as they aren't breaching the peace or anything, they should have the right to stay. Just in my humble opinion.

 

 

Yes they do, if you are born with something, a condition, a preference, black hair, whatever, it is because it is in your genome, part of your DNA. THE ONLY WAY TO PASS ON GENES IS THROUGH SEXUAL REPRODUCTION. So, if homos were actually 'born' that way (they are not), the actual genetic defect of homosexuality would be more like 1/1,000,000. Of those 300ish people, if 25% end up accidentally producing offspring, that leaves only 75 gays, AFTER THE FIRST GENERATION. Any of you activists see where I'm going?

West, I know you didn't address this to me, but my question to you would be, What would you suggest be done about it? Let's see if we can come to some common ground. Is there a solution to the perceived problem? I don't believe anyone is trying to justify it any more than what is perfectly evident. They are here, they walk among us! What can you do, what will you do, what are you willing to agree to? Are you willing to co-exist?

 

I'm a Christian man. I try to live by the bible (Gods word for you haters out there) and he strongly condemns homosexuality. Period. No way around that. I choose his side. He's the perfect one. Men on men sex is nasty and not natural....it goes against nature itself. Nothing good can come out of it. All I know is what I would do in this situation and that would be the same as those good upstanding moral people did. I think you can tell I'm not in favor of ANY gay rights whatsoever.

BTW, I minored in psychology and what I discovered was that about 2/3 of the students and most of the instructors were very disturbed, confused folk trying to find out what was wrong with themselves. They felt it was their main purpose in life to push the envelope and take society to the next level. Actually, it was an eyeopenning experience and a good minor for a conservative accountant.
