You're off a couple of years. Yep, they did. The nice thing about it, there was little material to study and few textbooks.

I was one of the few(like the only one) that was married and already had a child, so I had a lot of fun disagreeing with some of the teachers.

Gee, really? I never would have guessed.

I am also a Christian and I'm sick of people who profess to be Christians who twists God's word to fit their prejudices. Keep in mind the Bible, as we have it today, has been twisted by people such as you to support their personal beliefs.

Curiously enough, I ran into the same thing although I feel the percentage was a bit lower. Fortunately, my education did not stop when I graduated.

I went to college in Abiliene, TX (Abiliene Christian). Did you go to school in TX also? It would be an interesting coincident.

Should have been 65, but due to working full time, it was 66. I worked on a Masters till 67 and then was still associated with the school working on their audit for a few years while with a CPA firm and then thru 1988 as a part time teacher.

Psychology is the reason I minored in philosophy. That is because at least philo doesn't try to take artificial theories of the human mind and try to apply them as facts in narrow / specific situations. I took half a semester of psychology, and i found out that i am not touchy / feely enough to succeed in that class. I continuously asked questions that the professor couldn't answer, because she, who claimed to be an expert on the human psyche, was stuck thinking in the narrow scope of her field and was unable to answer a question without first attempting (and generally failing) to tie it to some basic rule of psychology.

I would guess the same standard of law applies.

Once you rent the room, it qualifies as your domicile and you are free to do as you wish behind closed doors. (butt business or Lord's business, unless the specific local laws state otherwise.)

It's the public display part most of us have an issue with. Don't force your lifestyle on the public.

Fine even if it truly is a sin and they along with all of the rest of us are sinners, what's the point?

He who is without sin shall cast the first stone! Pull the log out of your own eye before focusing on the splinter in your neighbors!

The Bible also says that you are required to live within the laws of the land you live in too.

No one is saying you have to take it up the butt. No one says you have to be their best buddy. You don't have to like them. You don't have the right to discriminate against them. Much like they can't discriminate against you.

I will say it again and again. My biggest turn off to religion is that it is supposed to be about love and tolerance but I don't see it. I see people using religion to feel morally superior to each other. I see people killing each other because they don't love God the same way they love God. I see preachers bilking granny out of her money in the name of God. The Bible is written and interpreted by man and I have a hunch that given the love and tolerance shown by those so called Christians makes me think the writers may have been the same bigoted intolerant fools.

Please do not condemn all Christians by the actions of some.

So your saying someone who goes directly against Gods word are no better off than people who try to live by his word the best they possibly can??? Come on dude I know you know the difference.....yes we are all sinners. Does that mean we should give up and throw in the towl and do what ever we want?? NO! People who go directly against what is right will reap what they sow brother. Wake up. Stop twisting True Christianity with FALSE Christianity. There is a difference.
