This is the fastest I've ever seen something push through, that was for a damn good reason.

the WBC... they're a disgrace to cults everywhere...

The one thing I do like about the WBC is that it doesn't matter who you are, you despise these ignorant and self righteous scum.

Some of the things that have been done to combat them have been amusing though...

They spew hateful messages under the guise of "free speech." I do believe that thee is a case in front of the USSC now about them. I do agree, too, Right, Left, Liberal or Conservative, that we all have to understand that they do not represent anything good and decent about the US.

I like the guy that raised the money and made donations to all the organizations they're against in their name, awesome.

It will go to the Supreme Court, too, and probably be stricken down, but at least it is in place for right now and will stop them from messign with the Arizona services.

I don't think it will be stricken.

The Arizona legislation is modeled on an Ohio law that was upheld by the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals.

The WBC is beneath contempt. I cannot understand how they, or anyone in their community can sleep at night.

This is definately not to be read into by any means. But,out of curiosity how have these people not been, let's say 'picked off' by a high powered weapon wielded by a grieving loved one or comrade? The movie Shooter comes to my mind. People do strange things when forced to cope with the loss of loved one before their time. However, if these idiots joined Jimmy Hoffa, I doubt anyone would cry.
Just curious, I'm definately not suggesting anything. Just curious.

Because sane people are the ones being attacked here. This group is the same type of group who would do such 'picking'. Insane groups do not attack other insane groups. Must be part of their union charter or something.

crazy bunch of people....

It's only a matter of time before they all drink the coolaid....Can't believe they teach that stuff to their kids as well. I feel sad for them as their entire lives are filled with hatred and how everyone around them is against God. By their own teachings they will be standing alone when their time comes.

I never expected this sort of post on here, but I can say I'm pleased at how many heterosexuals are so against this issue. I came out on here quite a few years ago, and was not treated differently (much appreciated), but one of my biggest fears is that when I die or a family member dies, is that they will come and protest and I'll be powerless to stop it. A funeral is a place of closure for families, there is no purpose to protesting at a funeral. Protesting is not going to change anyone from gay to straight, don't these idiots realize that? What also bothers me is the lack of stopping this - what I mean is if a president or a governor dies there is no way in hell they'd allow protesters anywhere near the area. What makes homosexual funeral any different than a governor or president? We're all people, we're all equal, no one is better than anyone. I feel alot better knowing you guys are just as outraged by the westboro baptist Clan as I am, even if some of you don't agree with the gay lifestyle, you also agree that they are spreading the wrong message. What is even worse is watching that video above and seeing a little girl holding a hate sign, that is sick and we wonder why people are growing up with so much hate.

What bothers me the most is the kids. Their parents are shoving this down their throat and they're believing it.
