Take the damn truck, stop bitching about the car and truck. All you do is put down the car. So flipping drive your truck, its not like any girls in Tallahassee care what the hell you drive.

I'd drive the Eclipse all day every day.

Oh yeah. A 99 Eclipse 5-speed runs 0-60 in 9.5 seconds, not 7.4...

Why do you go home almost every weekend (I'm assuming your trips home are over the weekend since you work and have classes)? If you just kept your butt at school like most students you wouldn't have to worry about spending money on gas. Don't worry about your g/f living so far away either, it won't work out and you're just wasting your time and money. Find yourself a chick at school.

If you can't afford gas, quit spending money on mods, and if you take the car, for the love of Pete, don't waste any more money on mods for it!

And you shouldn't have to worry about hitting curbs in a car, just don't drive like crap!

Stop worrying about your girl so much, lets see it this way. You can borrow mine, cause I have to "make up" "Calc Test" just so I can hang out with my best friends. Look on the bright side, shes older than your girl friend. Oh, and im younger than you...

Raptor if you really worryed about it sell your truck for a 5spd 4 or 6cyl ranger. those things get some crazy good gas mileage.

i knew someone with an auto and the 6 and was getting 25+mpg all the time. ive heard HEARD claims of 30+ with the 5 spd and the german 4 banger.

My sister had a Ranger with a 3.0 V6 and an automatic - it was a dog and got crappy gas mileage.

well I already put some stickers on it and I'm on ebay right now looking for neon kits to make it go faster

I drove the truck one last time around the block before handing the keys over to my dad and I'll miss sitting up so high. I can open the door to this thing and touch the ground with my elbow

he's not going to sell it, but he is trying to say instead of taking the $2,800 check from insurance, to pocket it for living expenses, school, etc and keep the truck the way it is but theres no way im doing that. once i save a little bit I AM going to find out how to get my 18 mpg back so I can drive it again
