I know. He got me, too. Though He must not have been paying too much attention. He spent 20 years on that pew, and was surprised it came back to bite him in the butt.

The Jeremiah mud didn't stick in '08.
I don't expect slinging the muslim mud to fare much better next time around.

Do you honestly think there will be any need for mud slinging? I'm taking playful shots at a President I don't much agree with. (Well... Maybe not so playfully.) You know good and well that I can debate the issues seriously if I so choose to. It's generally an exercise in futility.

I think he's secretly hoping for a Republican landslide this year, so he can take credit for the resulting boost to the economy it will cause. (A la Bill Clinton.) That may make him popular enough with people who don't notice such things to get him re-elected. Maybe a little mudslinging WILL be in order... It's not like every Republican that ever runs for office is labeled and idiot, a crook, or Hitler reincarnate... Right? Politics is a dirty business.

Why all this concern about piddly made up stuff?
Obama is working feverishly to repeal the 22nd admendment while you are all being distracted.

You're playing over your head. You don't even understand the nature of the quote. It's a vehicle for nullifying the arguments of those who disagree with you. Not a statement of great wisdom.

Those links don't mean a thing to me Raoul. So what if it's 'official.'

I didn't realize that he was contesting Amendment 22. Big surprise there...NOT!

I can't argue with that too much. I know a lot of people who vote my way that I wish would just keep their mouths shut.

There's so much going on, how am I supposed to know about 1 single issue? I must have been distracted by all of the corruption in other areas.

My point was being predisposed to embracing what you are being fed.
There is no 22nd admendment issue, it's just something I thought of and typed up while sitting in my parents basement.

I'm not 'pre-disposed to embracing what I'm being fed.' I just find it amusing that you are always right. No matter the topic, you are always correct and I am the slack-jawed yokel and I am supossed to give in to your wisdom and far superior knowledge every time.

Hey! Hold on just a minute.
In no way did I intend that phrase refer to you.

I was talking about the mods and most of the IB staff.
Especially that guy who keeps turning off the Search.
