Which miserable thing do you want to share, Quebec or Obama?

Or... we could give Obama to Quebec and be done with it.

Just remember to vote in mass in November, stop these insane progressives,(communist). Funny how the whole cabinet is full of CZAR's, what clueless American understands that is a Communist description of his real beliefs....As for the Alhambra which is a victorious trophy to the downing of the trade towers I hope the union idiots refuse to build it...If they do, than it shows their true colors also...Also call your representatives to protect our FLAG, House resolution 47 and Senate resolution 15 which prevents the likes of the hippies in power from destroying our flag in public....

And more on this issue......

http://news.yahoo.com/s/afp/20100815...20100815184754

"This is not about freedom of religion, because we all respect the right of anyone to worship according to the dictates of their conscience," US Senator John Cornyn, a Texas Republican, said on Fox News Sunday.

"But I do think it's unwise... to build a mosque at the site where 3,000 Americans lost their lives as a result of a terrorist attack. And I think to me it demonstrates that Washington, the White House, the administration, the president himself seems to be disconnected from the mainstream of America."

Cornyn makes some good points.

I know it has been mentioned already in this thread, but I would like to see it re-emphasized that there is a Muslim practice of building mosques/converting churches at the sites of their military conquests.

IMO, that is clearly what is going on here. Building the mosque as close as possible to the towers is intended to be a slap in the face to us and a celebration of the victory on 9/11 by the extremists.

I am strongly opposed to giving our enemy a propaganda victory. If they don't intend to slap us in the face and celebrate their victory on 9/11, the answer is simple: Build the mosque/cultural center someplace else.

Oh, to the President and those in favor of bulding this mosque, please don't insult me by implying I'm a bigot, anti-religion and un-American, just because I don't want to give those that hate us a propaganda victory. Thanks.

dirt bike dave, im with you. I believe that a mosque has no place anywhere in our country, let alone 2 blocks from Ground Zero. islam is a filthy religion and I do not support any small bit of it being accepted into our culture. I'd like to have a nation-wide vote and see just how that would turn out.
