And another thing. As far as lifted big trucks not going off road. Whats the difference in someone with a 60K Roush Mustang and not racing it .

a vehicle is a luxury. The point you are getting across goes the same for a lifted truck that stays on the street, a 60k roush used for getting groceries, and a 1000cc sport bike used to save gas. its a luxury.

Most everybody has said they are illegal, so illegal items is the cool thing?
Yes they are. I could only imagine the responses if you came on here asking "why does everyone run straight pipes?" That's illegal but people still do it. Quit worrying about why people want things/stuff that may not exactly conform to state laws/regulations, go look up some videos on youtube of people with train horns scaring the hell out of people on sidewalks and in parking lots and enjoy laughing your *** off. That is if you can pull the corn cob out of your *** long enough to actually enjoy it.

i think someone was beaten as a child.....and is still to this day hahahaha

honestly this is a dumb thread. you've received your answers already from both owners of train horns and people who don't own them.
so now you're just poking at everyone to your liking.

my 4wd is low because i want it to be, and have you ever been in a vehicle with 4wd or awd and launch at a dragstrip? can you say TRACTION?? i can.

If we wanted to be a smartass we could start a thread about people who are obsessed with guns. It's all the same thing. Not everyone cares about guns like you do, but we ain't busting your ***** about something you like.

I agree 98%. i dont believe the cool thing to do are illegal things. I mean, i have illegal mods, however them being illegal did not give me the incentive to do so. no, benefiting the looks, practicality, fun, and ride of my vehicle did.

Thank you.

Would you believe, of the 15 there are only 2 of them that are exactly alike?

so now you're just poking at everyone to your liking. Thank you for your opinion on the thread. I don't care what you really think.

That is why I was asking, I did not know if there was a particular reason, performance wise or what. No I have not been in a lowered 4WD at a dragstrip. I just had never heard of it, cause around where I live we need 4WD to get around in the winter. It was a serious question, not "poking at everyone to my liking".

How many times do I have to say it, it was a question of why people put them on, especially to just scare people. Go ahead & make a thread about people who a obsessed with guns. I bet they won't get as butt hurt about the subject as some of these guys have.

Can't do nothing right around here it seems. Where do you suggest I should have put it? I figured the General Discussion was a safe place, since it is a general topic that has veered in a couple different ways. It definitely was not a tech question.

I could care less about my post count, what's that get a person? Nothing. If I cared about a post count, I would not be multi-quoting my replies now would I?

I think we all just need to be friends. Let's not let something like this ruin what could be a great friendship
