BP is not in the wrong, they should be apologized to
You said 'the point if life is a team sport', which makes no sense. Sounds to me like you are asking a question, but there is no question mark.
It's hard to figure out what you are trying to share because most of it contains typos and incorrect grammar.

All I know is, pointing fingers, talks of money, sueing BP, politics, etc ... are wasting valuable time as we speak.
Call me a tree huggin hippie, or whatever, but there is an ecosystem that is being destroyed. I could careless how much money it costs, or who is at fault. Fix the dad-gum leak, and clean up the mess before it's too late.
...and I agree with NCSU:

Works for me. Stuff happens sometimes. Does anyone really think BP wants the spill to continue? They're just losing money, product and gaining bad press.
How can the US dictate financial damages to a foreign company? Especially when there is a law in place that already caps oil spill damages, at much, much less?
IMHO, anyone that thinks BP is some horrible giant corporation that only hurts people need to STHU, or give up all petroleum products; gasoline, heating oil, waxes, etc. Oh yeah, don't drive on any asphalt roads either. And give up your hybrid too, it's full of petroleum based plastics.
Sometimes accidents happen. It's more important to solve the problem and move on than it is to point fingers and lay blame. Too bad nobody seems to be in charge right now.

All I wanted to get across is that life is a team sport.
I will agree with that. We all just need to work together to solve our problems... I do not care if the government or whoever is running the government is involved, we just need to fix the problems and be peaceful in that process.
In a way, it is, but some people choose not to play.
Goddammit, EVERYONE (BP, the government, anyone else involved) just needs to FIX THE LEAK and CLEAN IT UP! When that's all done, then start the investigations, assign blame, and make reparations. The priorities in this country are ALL out of whack.
I guess that is where we differ so much, GreenBuck50. I don't see life as much of a team effort. It's my responsibility to make my own way and my families way. I have since I was 16 years old, so for 50 years. That includes earning every penny for college and living expenses. I help others in need, but I do not want help from anyone if I can avoid it. I taught my kids the same. My heroes were the mountainmen and frontiersmen such as Jeremiah Johnson. There was no team.
