I got 2 cards. I dont like class actions. So what they exaggerated the HP, they cut just fine. The only winners will be the attornys.

I've had a bunch of riders and pushers... luckily I kept all manuals and receipts for them!
I wonder why they didn't include items like pressure washers, go karts, and the like that use those engines.

Most likely outcomes here:
1) You didn't even notice the difference in your mower
2) You might get $0.35 when it's all said and done - 10 years from now
3) Some law firm will make millions
4) Victory will be declared - by above mentioned rich lawyers
5) Your "defective" mower will have long since died and gone to mower heaven
6) Nothing will really have been accomplished
7) President Obama will win another Nobel Peace Prize for his efforts on this one

Thats what i was thinking about was the extended warranty dont really care about the little bit of cash.
This is exactly why stuff cost more than it should! How freaking far off could the HP rating be that it would make a difference to any body? They probably foung something off in the way the HP ratings are measured, but it is probably used as a standard in the industry (didn't cross all the i's and dot the t's or something)Imo they should use the mowers on the ***tard (bas or re, you pick) lawyers.

I was hoping for an engine fault. my parents bought one with a Briggs 18 hp Intech. For some reason it lost compression. My Dad took it apart, and it looks like it swallowed a tiny piece of metal. but there are no screws missing anywhere inside the filter element. He also put a plexiglass cc shield over the cylinder, and it is putting out compression. We haven't figured out what it could have swallowed. But when it happened it was just outside the warranty date.
I printed the papers, who knows maybe he can get a new engine out of the deal.

As for me I gonna go and get my snapper dynoed (sounds painful) but I don't think I can continue to mow my yard with only 4 7/8 HP!!!
But maybe somebody could clear this up for me: Is that crank shaft HP or at the blade? Just want to make sure I'm diong it right!!!
Check the retainers on the valve springs or the springs themselves.

I guess we could bust the muffler open to see what's in it.
