Sunglasses?

I'm looking for some cheap but also somewhat durable sunglasses. I've been getting my picking from Wal-Mart (the $5 ones) but they break wayy to often. I'm going on a limb and saying ~$35 is my limit, anyone have any suggestions?

I just get mine for like 15-20 over summer break at surf shops when I go to the beach. I usually get 1 or 2 pairs incase 1 breaks. So far so good on both pairs I bought this past year.

I usually just the the $15 Panama Jack Jack aviators. They fit comfortably, and are polarized and what not. They'll last a good bit as long as you don't sit on them...or your sisters dog gets to them.

I did get a pair one time that also had a blue tint on the inside. Was supposed to be for block some IR as well. Got those for $15 as well, but have never been able to find them again.

If I were big baller, I'd maybe consider getting some of the really expensive ones, but then it'd suck if you lost them. Plus, the few that I've tried didn't seem much different than my cheaper ones...

I've come to find that when getting cheap and "durable" go with metal. All the plastic ones I get usually break within 4 - 6 months. Have a pair (metal) I got at Wal-Mart about 2 years ago and are still like new. Also bought some at the airport 2 for 20 3 years ago and they are still doing good, but I dont wear them often. Good luck.

If you bought a good pair of glasses you would probably take better care of them.

I got a pair of $200 costa del mars that I've had for six years.

If you get a good pair and take care of them then you shouldnt have a problem. I have Oakley Juliets. They are the most comfortable, strongest, safest glasses Ive found. The lens are designed not to break, its made out of 15 different parts that mold to your face. But they are about $300. So thats out of the question.

And to those that say they cant tell a difference between a 10$ walmart glasses and a 300$ oakleys has never worn a real pair of oakleys. The polarized lens are super amazing.

Go to your local hardware store or saftey store and check out some of the Safety sun glasses they have out they are pretty durable and inexpensive. Here are just a couple I found on Amazon.

I've had the same pair of Costa's I got for $180 for four years now. I would absolutely die without them.

Left them in Auburn a couple weeks ago and I had to be in Birmingham for the week, so I had my roommate overnight them to me haha

I usually just wear my Smith & Wesson glasses I get from work for free. But sometimes I rock my Armani Exchange ones, as seen in the Show Your Ugly Mug thread.

I have a lot of sunglasses, cheap and expensive. I have found that the expensive ones last longer, and look and feel better. However, it does suck when you lose them, break them, or they get stolen.

At my old part-time job (golf course) someone left a pair of Oakley Radars in one of the carts. I pulled them inside and let them sit there for a month. No one ever called or claimed them so my boss gave me first dibs. How's that for cheap?
