I disagree.
He is a small guy, size is something that really matters the majority of the time in a scuffle. When your a bigger person, you have so much more of an advantage on others. Someone pulls a knife on me, they're prolly going to get it turned back around an jabbed in they're face or chest. If someone is bigger than you i don't recommend a knife. You have to be close. They have longer arms, bigger frames, etc.

Since your smaller than most ppl, the best thing i'd recommend would be try not to **** anyone off and keep your doors locked. If they try to break your window and you can't carry a gun, floor it.

That sucks man, glad you're alright though!

Similar thing happend to my dad a few years ago. We were goin up to camp and he was doin 60mph in a 55 zone and some guy behind us was RIGHT behind us. My dad tapped the brakes and everything then the guy went blowin around us, good right? We get to a red light and the guy gets out and comes over to my dads truck and starts yellin and cussin and throwin a fit. My dad rolls down the window, shows him the pistol and says "We can do this the easy way, or the hard way you choose." The guy turned around and went back to his truck.

Next time after someone assaulted you and re chases you... get em close slam the brakes and hit reverse. That is terrible. Run that pos over , it would be self defense. If this is wrong advice I dont care. people like that need delt with. Those are the types that rob old ladies and shiat.

I keep a tire iron under the front seat just in case.

Im a fairly big guy at 6'3" and 250# so I think some idiots would think twice before approaching me like that but anything is possible.

A knife is a good idea since you cant carry. It doesnt matter about size with a knife if you know how to properly use it for self defense. I would recommend some self defence classes(Im a black belt and we learn how to use a knife and other weapons and trust me if you know how to hold it right they wont get close to you unless they like deep cuts haha). But I do hate these kinds of people...I have had my license for like a month and already have run across stupid drivers(and slow ones).

Knives are NOT smart> they can get turned back on you too easy, especially if your attacker is bigger/stronger than you.

obviously you dont know how to use one. You dont try to stab someone you hold it so the butt of it is sticking out of your fist a little and the opposite side of the blade runs down your arm so the blade is sticking out. I would like to see you get that from me when I put my arm up to block your grab.

a knife is better than nothing. if you know how to use one, they can be a great self defense tool.

I respectfully disagree with you. You obviously haven't been in too many real fights.

I gotta disagree. I just know a knife doesn't and wouldn't stop me in a fight. You gotta remember, this guy is 5'3", and i wouldn't suggest them to anyone. Any weapon can get turned on you but knives are alot closer combat and more likely to have something go wrong when using them.

I don't know how to use a knife i guess, but i've had them pulled on me in a couple of fights. I can say i've never been stabbed or stabbed anyone.

Thank you MmmBuckles. And offroadn'98 why would that even matter? I mean really? I was just saying a knife is better than nothing. You dont bring a gun to a knife fight and you dont bring punches in a knife fight. Simple. Get it, got it, good. And I am sure you have been in soooo many fights? Yes I have been in a couple but none with knives or guns.

it just sounds like a bad idea to me! If i was little and worried aboiut stuff like this, i would opt for illegally caring a gun over carrying a knife.
