obviously we can nit pick this to no end, the good thing is that no one was seriously injured, and everone went thier own way,

road rage gone wrong, time for a supercharger
I would've except that I had a car in front of me and one on both sides and backwards was the only option. If somebody had been behind me I would've been pushing the person in front of me through the intersection and let insurance deal with it later. I didn't see him coming because he had stopped behind me. I saw him right as he grabbed the door handle and I tried to hit the lock but couldn't. I grabbed the inside handle and tried to keep the door between us but he was quite a bit stronger than I am so he ripped it out of my hands after a couple of tugs. When that happened is when I tried to back up but hit park instead.

I've heard of things like this happening before just never thought it would be me.

I can assure you I don't put either truck in drive until doors are locked.

Since the street is a straight line from my house to the office I leave 4x4 on the whole way so if need be I can move or drive over anything in the way.

Why can't this stuff happen to me? - Was there any salt in the spreader box? Oh man that would have been fun. Sorry, but I love ticking off a-holes to no end.

That sucks it happened to you, - that fricken bone head needed a lesson or two in congeniality, - I'm always game

I'm glad you're O.K. Always lock your doors. I've seen idiots like this. All you can do is watch your @ss. A person is intelligent, people are dumb, panicky animals.

That was my first question: what the heck made him so mad?

I've dealt with idiots like this before. All you can do is go about your merry way and pretend like he's not there, but never take your eye of them.
If this happens again, drive to a very busy location like WalMart and sit and wait for him to leave, or even drive up to the police station. Or, you could have stopped him real quick by throwing it into reverse and smacking his front bumper, popping his airbags.
Thank goodness he didnt have a gun or a knife. I wish this would have happened to me, I would have whipped his ***, then while he's lying in the street, shut his car off and thrown his keys into the weeds.

I'm glad I live in a small town and don't have to worry about this for the most part. Its a good thing too because I'm usually a mellow guy but the 1 thing that can get me boilin is dumb people, and dumb drivers.

Something like this kind of happened to my dad one time when i was with him. We were at a stop sign turning left. Well dad drives a 7.3 stroker and he putts around for the most part, but we had just turned left and some little 4 cylinder pulled out into the left lane from behind us to pass us. What does dad do he stomps and we are side by side doing evey bit of 50 or so in a 30 mph zone. Well this guy is still in the left lane when a car is coming the next way and he's trying to get going to pass us still. Well he slams on the breaks right at the last minute and follows us about 2 miles down the road to auto zone. Gets out screaming and yelling, dad started yelling. I thought I was going to have to break up a fight ha. It was getting pretty heated but the dude was an older fat guy that didn't have any room to be trying to start a fight. Yeah it was both parties fault but at the same time the dude was isn the wrong for trying to pass us in a no passing zone.

But me personally has only had dip chits yelling and flipping me off as they pass me on the highway. I don't even know why the dude was so upset. I didn't cut him off because I stayed i was in the slow lane for about 2 miles before he ever went past me. I guess the speen limit wasn't fast enough for him?

I'm pretty sure once he opened your door it's fair game for you to start defending yourself. A buddy of mine did some stupid crap like this once because a guy cut him off, he then cut him back off, then the guy drove by and tossed pennies at the truck. At the stop light my buddy got out and tried getting his door open with no luck than as he was coming back to the truck kicked it. Needless to say the cops showed up and my buddy went to jail.

Cops told me (if I remember correctly), that pretty much the minute you step out of your vehical to approch another vehical in this situation, it's assult. At which point the other person (you in this case) can do what you need to defend yourself. I carry a mag light in the truck that I have cramed inbetween my seat and the middle seat. Easy to get to and will detur most. Glad your ok, but I would sugest having some form of "help" (you are on the smaller side buddy) just incase this happens agian. Also it sounds like you travel that way often, never know when you might run into this horse' rear agian.

He cant get a CCW in Wisconsin. This just makes me appreciate the auto lock feature on my truck even more and I carry a 3D Mag Light in the truck. Glad your alright I have been turned around in Milwaukee and had to go through some areas that made me really nervous.

Im pretty sure you can go anywhere and get a concealed to carry. My dad just got a UTAH carry permit thats good for like 40+ states. Mind you, we live in missouri. Im not down on gun laws really, but im sure a good can of mace would come in handy. Nevermind..i just seen Wisconsin is gay. Its one of the two only states that only officers can carry.

Carry permit, Glock 9mm, and if anyone opens the door and threatens you, well you do the math!! I try to stay out of trouble, do the right thing and be courtious to others. That's why I won't be threatened by anyone. I've used it before and will use it again if necessary.

Downside: you may have to buy a new door and hinges.

Upside: you hit the F-er hard enough to need a new door and hinges!

im interested in one of those mace/pepper spray canisters that riot control police use. It looks like a small fire extinguisher and could take down a small crowd of people.
Keep that bad boy under the seat for when things get hairy...

If someone tried to pull that on me, he would be getting 4 inches of razor sharp stainless steel directly into his chest. You should keep a knife in your truck that's easy to access just incase you run into round 2.

I bet the hole reason things went as far as they did is because he came close enough to gauge your size and gumption.

Sounds like you may have gotten a little shaken up/panic'd, so I'd suggest finding some way of learning how to calm yourself in these situations, you'll need that before a weapon is even of any use to you.
