President said what??
Hitler attempted to exterminate God's covenant people (the Jews). So for anyone to even think for one nanosecond that he was a Christian is the most ridiculous thought in the history of mankind. The man was insane via demon possession. Hitler, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, all of them were known to go into fits of unprovoked rage for absolutely no reason. That, my friends, is demon possession.

Hope your "online" instructions weren't false and your not passing up on a life altering gift.
I'll give you a quick run down.......
First, you have to accept you aren't perfect, "For all have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God." -Romans 3:23 None of us are perfect.
You need to realize that you don't get to heaven thru good works or anything like that....You get there by the Lords GRACE...and grace alone...
Next you ask him to come in to your heart and forgive you of your sins. If you truely believe this with your heart you are saved.
Does this mean you are expected to be perfect? No....because take a look at Isaiah 64. It says, "We are all infected and impure with sin. When we display our rightous deeds, they are nothing but filthy rags."(before the lord)
He does ask of us to try to follow his example as best we can, it's written down for us. He's not going to strike you dead if you slip up.
Things God asks of his followers?....God asks of his follower to spread the word. (what i'm doing) Have a relationship with him and become informed.(spend time in prayer&reading his word aka..Bible) This is an area i struggle in. But when i do, my eyes get opened to new things even if i read the same verses ive read before.
Everyone "hates" on Christians more than anyother religion b/c it's correct. Their are Christians being slaughtered in other countries for their faith. Here, your worried about discriminating muslims? "OOOH bleeding hearts of the world unite!"
islam It's a false religion with much hate theology. In todays society i kno that it isn't popular to be a Christian, but i feel perfectly safe/capable and my reward will be in heaven. Read these...
Mathew 5:3-12 says,"3"Blessed are the poor in spirit,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
4Blessed are those who mourn,
for they will be comforted.
5Blessed are the meek,
for they will inherit the earth.
6Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness,
for they will be filled.
7Blessed are the merciful,
for they will be shown mercy.
8Blessed are the pure in heart,
for they will see God.
9Blessed are the peacemakers,
for they will be called sons of God.
10Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness,
for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
11"Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.
AND.....2 Timothy 3:12
"everyone who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will suffer persecution."
It's but a short time on this earth.........Our reward is in heaven.
That's the only way to get to heaven and their is only one place for the non-believers.
ONCE AGAIN.....NO ONES PERFECT....THERE ARE MANY CHRISTIANs, BUT THERE ARE MANY THINGS YOU SEE THAT CHRISTIANs DO THAT YOU WOULDN'T EXPECT, THATS CAUSE NO-ONE IS PERFECT.
AND UNFORTUNATELY THERE ARE THOSE THAT MIGHT THINK THEY ARE SAVED, BUT SADLY DON'T REALIZE THEY ARE NOT. -EXAMPLE(PPL WHO THINK GOOD DEEDs WILL GET THEM TO HEAVEN)
You just have to kno the path and follow it as best you can.
God, Jesus, and the holy spirit are the same. Cause i kno i refered to God and Jesus they are the same. They are the Trinity...3-in-1. Holy Spirit is the other.
HOPE YOUR ONLINE SOURCE SAID SOMETHING ABOUT SOME OF THIS.

guess proof reading does come in handy some...
If you study history, and not just one source, you'll find out that there is no way that Hitler was indwelt with the Holy Ghost.
Every Christian I know or have known has had a VERY protective stance toward the Jews. Hitler was no angel of light, no matter what he said in speeches.
Even Obama claims to be a Christian, yet he has no testimony.

In a speech delivered April 12, 1922, published in "My New Order," and quoted in Freethought Today (April 1990), Hitler said:
My feeling as a Christian points me to my Lord and Savior as a fighter. It points me to the man who once in loneliness, surrounded only by a few followers, recognized these Jews for what they were and summoned men to fight against them and who, God's truth! was greatest not as a sufferer but as a fighter.
In boundless love as a Christian and as a man I read through the passage which tells us how the Lord at last rose in His might and seized the scourge to drive out of the Temple the brood of vipers and adders. How terrific was his fight against the Jewish poison.
Today, after two thousand years, with deepest emotion I recognize more profoundly than ever before the fact that it was for this that He had to shed his blood upon the Cross.
As a Christian I have no duty to allow myself to be cheated, but I have the duty to be a fighter for truth and justice . . .
And if there is anything which could demonstrate that we are acting rightly, it is the distress that daily grows. For as a Christian I have also a duty to my own people. And when I look on my people I see them work and work and toil and labor, and at the end of the week they have only for their wages wretchedness and misery.
When I go out in the morning and see these men standing in their queues and look into their pinched faces, then I believe I would be no Christian, but a very devil, if I felt no pity for them, if I did not, as did our Lord two thousand years ago, turn against those by whom today this poor people are plundered and exploited.""

So here's the dilemma. Hitler said he was a Christian as is proven by his speech above, but of course Christians will dismiss him and say he wasn't a Christian. (In exactly the same way Muslims will dismiss the terrorists and dismiss them as Muslims.)
See how that works?
What's good for the goose is good for the gander (whatever the heck that means) but the point is, Christian's want it one way only. They want to paint all Muslims as terrorists, but when one of their own becomes a terrorist (as in Hitler) they quickly alienate themselves from him)
It's a huge double standard; you guys can't have it both ways.
Why is it ok to say Hitler wasn't a Christian when by his own words he was, but when some wacko Extremist does something crazy, many of you lump them all in together?
It's hypocrisy at its best.

The "dilemma" is arbitrary. No, I repeat, no Christian is going to attempt to systematically exterminate a people, (to wit: the worldwide Jewish nation, which was Hitler's ultimate goal if Allied forces were defeated). Not to mention, you will not find anywhere in Scripture the order to murder races of peoples to "purify" the human race, as Hitler wanted to do. This also proves he was not a Christian and was a demon-possessed madman. Remember, Hitler rounded up Christians and had them murdered also. (people always forget that pesky little fact)
Your attempt to make us seem to "have it both ways" is an age-old straw man argument that holds no water.
As I said above (and I guess I need to repeat it again), just because someone calls themselves a "Christian" does not mean that they are. His "fruit" (Hitler's) and his "testimony" does not concur with the Bible.
Much as Obama's "fruit" of being pro-murder (abortion) proves that he is not a Christian, even though he claims he is. An honest freudian slip is here:

No Christian is going to make that slip.
So to say that someone is a Christian is "proven by their speech", is false. There are many so-called Christian leaders today such as Brian Mclaren, Jim Palmer, Phylis Tickle, Benny Hinn, Paul Crouch, etc., that call themselves Christians, but do not have the testimony to back it up.

No hypocrisy at all. The Qur'an actually states to kill infidels (non-believers) and to "not make friends with Jews or Christians." You will not find Christ ordering the murder of ethnic or religious groups anywhere.

Falling back on your reading again and letting common sense and personal responsibility fly out the window.
Thank you for the informative read. From what I have gathered from reading about religion, I am finding that whatever religion you believe in, all other religions are sinful or work of the devil or what have you. I was baptized Catholic when I was young, but my parents quit going to church when they got a divorce. Of course the Catholic church does not accept divorce, so my mother moved back to NY with me and my father stayed in Miami. My father was very abusive towards my mom mostly and me once...that's all it took for my Mom to pack up and leave town. We never attended church together again. I went every so often when I was in college, but lost interest as I grew older. I guess I am considered a non-practicing Catholic since I was baptized quite some time ago. I really don't have much interest in joining any religion, but I enjoy reading about them and their ideology.
"Falling back on reading", is really all one has, correct?
I can assure you, unfortunately for Hitler, that that man is in hell right now.
The only one that I see that is against personal responsibility is Obama who is protecting his fellow Muslims by giving them a "fair trial" in NYC.
May God protect you and your lack of understanding for your fellow man.
Frank, I take nothing you say in a mean or harsh way. I have always been taught to consider the source.
It's your way or the highway Frank and I've found the highway.
