I was in my 7th grade english class. I had no idea what the WTC was and I thought it must have been a private plane that hit it.

Then I go to lunch and a teacher is watching the TV, I see a big smoke cloud over New York and reporters saying we are under attack.

I have never been filled with so much pure anger than I was that day.

Same here. I was in the exact same class, but didn't hear about it until lunch. Some teachers wouldn't let us kids watch it, others made their class. Didn't really know what was going on until I went to my Mom's office later that day,

I was at work with only an FM radio and my cell phone, calling my wife at home so she could pass on what was happening as she watched on the news so I could pass it on to everyone. There were a bunch of angry and concerned people at work that day, a day I will never forget.

I was getting ready for work. Like FX41, I was filled with more anger than ever in my life. And, I knew we WOULD have to do something about it.

Later, I became even more angry when we decided to forget about the guy who did it and move toward chasing red herrings in Iraq in an attempt to gain political approval (since the war in Afghanistan was not particularly exciting).

I was in HS, confused during the day, last class of the day was a computer class so we all sat on the internet trying to watch any videos we could find, and at the time that afternoon, only two videos were available, and the bandwith was maxed out so watching them was very difficult. Went to band practice as normal, all other afterschool activities were canceled, and then after practice we had a meeting and our band director told us to go home and watch TV with our parents and talk about what happened.

I was in my 5th grade class. I had no idea what was happening because they wouldnt let us turn the tv on. I remember some girls mom came running in crying and took her daughter out of class and rumors were going around about the attack.

I was in my sophomore year of college. I had an econ test for my first class of the day and just woke up and went to take my test. Before the test the professor told us to just focus on the test if we could while taking it or something like that. I had no clue what had happened since I just got out of bed and went directly to class that day.
