Anybody else getting really annoyed with bad drivers? Last night i was driving to a buddies house and some dim wit woman driver was in a lane that ended and i thought she was going to turn into office max since she switched lanes into the one the ended. Oh no she had to swerve back into my lane cutting me off. Then her boyfriend or husband had the ***** to flip me off because i was on their bumper once they cut me off. WTF i get flipped the bird for someone elses mistake. I didnt do anything as getting in an arguement by flipping him off over something simple would have showed some immaturity. Kinda pissed me off but whatever i let it go.

Then today I go to merge onto the highway and the dumb SUV was driving in the left lane(merging lane) and no cars anywhere near them, they wont get over. So i have to floor it. Why should I have to abuse my truck because someone can't be courteous enough to get over in the other lane and let me merge onto the highway. What nimb rods! People need to go to more driving classes or something! Everyone makes mistakes but c'mon flipping me off for your mistake shows real immaturity and bone headed ness.

Oh, unfortunately, common sense is not a requirement for a driver's license. I work as an armed guard, and the other day my driver just about killed a motorcyclist. My driver was in the left left turn lane and the motorcyclist was in the right left turn lane (2 left turn lanes). Half way through the turn, my driver crosses over and the motorcyclist is, essentially, pinned between the truck and the curb. He slowed down and rocketed past us on the left side, shaking his head, but I was really pissed at my driver. He's completely oblivious to what is happening around him while he's driving.

I wrote up a complaint about that incident, since I don't think the motorcyclist reported it. If I had been the motorcyclist, though, I would have called the cops and tailed them to their next stop!

Courtesy, respect, consideration...those have all gone the way of the Chevette! I've noticed people have been thinking of only themselves for a very long time now, and it's only getting worse since the majority of them now are on cell phones or something when they're driving. Last night, my wife and & were at a stop light, waiting to turn left. The other light was letting people turn left, and they were coming right past us. Of the 11 cars that turned, 8 of them had a cell phone to their ear, yacking away. A guy in a new Mustang came within a couple inches of hitting us, and he looked at us like WE were the reason he almost hit us, and we were stopped!

It's only going to get worse.

Its like common wtf. I'm 19 years old only been driving for 3 years and i can honestly say i have not ever came close to wrecking. I backed into a telephone pole july the 4th 2 years ago in my dads truck, but thats the only thing. I have never about rear ended a vehicle or sideswiped or whatever another vehicle. Im pretty cautious driver and after my speeding ticket when i was 16 i haven't rarely went over the speed limit and if i am its only maybe 5mph over if that. People are just terrible drivers anymore. I'm glad here in Indiana they are requiring like 60 hours of drive time before you get your license. I think I only had to do like 16 maybe. Plus they passed a law here in Indiana that if your under 18 and caught on your cell while driving its a $500 fine! YIKES! I think its a bs law telling someone what they can and cannot do in their own vehicle but gee wiz its getting ridiculous how many people text and drive. I'm victim of it rarely(i hate texting to begin with) but i'm cautious about it.

I do the speed limit. I learned when I was younger... I even stop at RXR crossings... no turns on rights... people hate it, but I'm just being a safe and courteous driver by going when I'm supposed to go -- not cheat.

What I hate the most is when people swerve to the shoulder to make a right hand turn. I've had my right hand signal turned on, and people still cut me off. Like, duh... what is the turn signal for?! I read that the only time you are to get to the shoulder is when you pull over to stop.

I also hate when people drive like maniacs through construction zones...

The thing that I dislike the most is when I'm driving, no one has any consideration for people that drive standard shift and they yo-yo behind you, then they get ticked off thinking your are screwing with them, but in reality, you aren't. It's not my fault my truck takes forever to shift.

Whether I let someone in or not depends on the person. If they're being an ******* and trying to gain every possible spot they can while merging in at everyone elses expense, I'll block them. I haul a 20' enclosed trailer everyday on congested highways and it's rediculous how many people will do whatever they can to get ahead of you or not let you merge/switch lanes. I see it all the time with tractor trailers. People constantly try to screw them over by not letting them in and out. Most of them will get in the other lane to let traffic merge on but no one will ever return the favor for them. It irritates me how many people do this and don't realize how much of a luxury it is to them to have these truckers out there doing their job. How do they think merchandise and groceries get to the stores they shop at? To top it off, most of them get paid by the mile, so the more they get screwed, the longer their trip, the less they get paid for their time. On top of the rules they have to abide by being a trucker isn't the easiest job.

Slow people in the left lane for no reason drives me nuts.

Cell phones should be banned. I don't know how many times I'm driving behind someone or near someone and I find myself asking "What the hell is this person doing?" then you get passed them and you see they're on their phone. Big surprise. Not everyone is bad but there are so many out there that ruin things for everyone that laws like that need to be made.

I use the shoulder whenever possible to make a turn. As long as it makes sense to. I don't see the pointin slowing traffic down behind me for no reason. Also, turning on red isn't cheating. You treat it like a stop sign when turning right since you don't have to cross any other lanes of traffic. Unless there's a sign that says "no turn on red" (usually because of opposing traffic having a green turn arrow) there's no reason not to go. I agree with the construction zones. A small mistake can easily kill somebody. It only takes a split second for it all to happen. Do road construction for a bit and tell me if your temper doesn't get the best of you to where you're temped to chase people down and inflict bodily harm on them. Also, stopping at rail road crossings is a joke. Half the time you can't even see down the tracks anyway. All you end up doing is crossing them slower which is even more of a hazard. It's like "hey if there's no train at the tracks when I get there I'll stop and give one more time while I cross even slower."

Your problems are solved when you run them off the road, like I do. I don't tolerate idiots.

As long as you are in the right lane, it's cool. Don't try to be policing everyone by driving in the fast lane saying "I'm doing the speed limit you gotta go around".

People that get over onto the shoulder are doing the traffic a courtesy. It's either slow down the 27 cars behind them or simpy get the HELL out of the damn way onto the shoulder and make your turn. If there are that many cars turning there, there should be a turn lane. I do.

Right turn on red? You better get your *** outta the way if there's no traffic. You're the reason for lower MPG's. Stopping a RR crossings? Be prepared for someone to rearend you. You're not required to stop, slowing down is fine but don't stop. Again you're clogging to ozone layer for stopping so much.

No arguement here. However, since there is no requirement to be able to talk on the phone while driving as part of the driver's license test, the only other option is to ban the use of phones while driving. Too many people can't do it. It's not worth it to allow it just for the people that are able to do it at the expense of inoccent victims of the people who can't.

I wouldn't even have to carry a gun in the truck if people would just use their turn signals.

I am 18 and have never once used a cell phone while driving, Do I have one, yes but I'm not into phones, I've had 2, and that's only because the other one broke. It's dangerous, atleast to me. I have enough to worry about, there are way too many variables for me too worry about. I don't speed either...and it pays off 16.59 mpg all city in my 5.4 ext cab 2wd

When i first started driving at 14 thanks to the harvest back home, i would go pick up parts people whatever i could fit in a '76 f350. my dad would either come on the radio and yell at me or i would get to the elevator and he'd yell at me **** i was either going to fast to slow or his favorite "you have to drive for everyone else around you" ***** i was driving a semi to the elevator at 16.

but that comes from my dad being 68yr old hes seen his time behind a wheel. now a days kids are taught by there parents who dont know how to drive to start with.

what till you get around a military base thats when it getts bad if you live on a base or around one you know what i mean

Vote for me. They need a call in system. You call in a plate #. 10 calls on your plate in a year requires a refresher class and so on. The more calls, the harsher the punishment. Then you try not to **** off other people who dont have blue lights on their car.
