i had that same crap happen to me. some jackass decided to sit thru a green light on his cell phone. i was on the horn and he didnt move or even phase him that it was green. so an opening popped up in the right lane i floored he started flipping me off and cussing me out. big *** mistake on his part. i got in front of his *** and went from 50-0 as fast as freaking possible. he swerved and locked up his brakes. i laughed, my friend behind him laughed. and i laughed some more. i never knew my truck w/ 35's could stop so quickly.

Your right common sense and courtesy have gone out the window lately and its getting worse. I dont know how many times people have passed me only to slam on the breaks and make a right turn in front of me and expect me to stop. I also like it when people on a cell phone dont yield the right way and think that they are going to win a shoving match with a 9,000 pound truck when they are in a Mazda 6 or Civic. And if you really want a thrill you should try driving a loaded delivery truck through town and have people pull this crap

People are stupid and rude. I'm tired of it, and same thing goes for the workplace. The people that come in are jerks and everything is YOUR fault. My generation is aweful, and it stinks to have to watch it happen.

I try to be as courteous as possible, especially on the highway. I always work with the truckers (PTF always gets used) and even yesterday I had a semi PTF me when I passed him in my measly little 4-wheel pickup I guess it was because he was in one of those "decked out" trucks with thousands of LEDs and he liked mine

I also hate people who drive the same speed in the left lane as someone else and you cant get past them. I found that slowing down to about 50 feet behind them and downshifting and coming up on their *** (not to aggressive now) will get their peripheral vision and catch their eye to move or speed up.

I hear that! Part of working at a fast-food joint requires us to explain to an angry customer how "its all our fault" even if it was clearly theirs. I hate it! Luckily I only have 18 more days there!!!

Raptor i feel ya. I dont work fast food but i work in a restraunt and we have this carry out window in the back and everyone is suppose to watch it but only a few have enought common sense to ask for the name, take their money, and give them change. Real hard but these dip chit high school punks don't know a darn thing. I mean i'm 19 and i can honestly say in my working experience i've never seen a kid my age out work me. Maybe thats why i'm the highest paid non manager?ha. But ya you have people pull up and sit there maybe 30 seconds and start honking the horn or someone will show up for a ribeye well done in 15 minutes flat from when they called thinking it will be done then get pissed because its not done. Or no my best is like tonight some lady pulled up and wanted to argue the price of her meal with me. I wanted to be like grandma listen here the prices are all in the computer i'm pretty sure it didn't make a mistake on your ticket alone. Its like people are so much in a hurry to do nothing. Just like speeding. You may think your getting there faster but in reality your saving maybe a minutes time and increasing your risk of hurting yourself or someone else. People are morons now-a-days. But like i said i'm only 19 but i garuntee you you won't meet another 19 year old as polite and courteous as i am. I'm an old generation guy trapped in a new generations body haha. I'm old school when it comes to about anything, even relationships. Get to know the girl then go from there. Not pork the girl then see how many times you can do it after that. People, mostly kids, are complete morons. Most that is anyways..

Amen on this thread guys! We just got back from a trip to Myrtle Beach and I do have to say I think we have the worst drivers here in Ohio. Driving down the interstate, everytime we would come up on a driver in the left lane poking along, they had Ohio plates. You would have to hope you could pass them on the right somehow cause they dont get over. Or, we would come across the ones who you would pass cause they were doing 60, then a few miles down the road they fly by you doing about 90. Then a few miles down the road there they are poking along. Not too mention all the other stupid things they do.

And dont get me started on the trun signals! As far as I know, even the the cheapest car you can buy IS equipped with turn signals. If I ever get too lazy to simply lift my hand to hit that little lever I hope someone will tell me.

OHIO DRIVERS SUCK!!!

Believe me, Ohio don't have a monopoly on bad drivers.

I forgot about that one but ya happens to me too. Annoys me to no end its like ya your welcome a-hole. I ALWAYS make sure to give a big wave to someone if they let me out. ANd holding the door open like last night after the movie was over if they don't attempt to say thank you i just let go of it and go on, if it hits em it hits em no sweat off my back.

I can't get involved with the idiot driver's talk, my doctor told me to take it easy.....

BUT, that business about holding a door for someone and then they just walk in without so much as a glance. I've learned to say nice and loud, "YOU ARE CERTAINLY WELCOME, THANK YOU FOR NOTICING I HELD THE DOOR FOR YOU!"

It's amazing how many people turn around and say, "I'm sorry, I forgot my manners, thank you!" The one's that don't, just shrink away as fast as possible. Try it, you'll like it!

if i take a woman out on a first date and she doesnt say thank you after door holding...she loses big points. you can learn all u need to know about a person just by watching routine behavior.

Also with the work environment, I'm tired of the lack of respect for a co-worker. Its amazing how different most co-workers act when the main manager isn't working. Its an absolute cluster ****! Because since the main manager isn't around they don't RESPECT the manager that manages that day. Everybody wants to take it upon themselves to be the manager. Basically too many chiefs and not enough Indians. And whats really funny is the 2 main people that think they are in charge when the main manager isn't there make less on the hour than i do. I am the highest paid non-manager employee. So whats that tell you? Its just absolutely frustrating how things go down when she isn't working. I'm going to say something tonight to her and see if something can be done. Its BS that my co-workers will not respect the other manager because he isn't a inforcer. He is a quiet guy and knows what needs to be done, all around good worker but he isn't as strict asw the main one so everyone thinks they can get away with whatever they want and it'll be alright. Fact is it won't be alright because more times than not it forces more work upon me, which is not fair considering i'm one of the hardest workers there. I don't wanna rat someone out but if thats what it takes to make the work environment better then thats how its going to have to be.

To the OP, I feel your pain. I lost it on one guy last year and got out of my truck and went up to his car when we pulled up to the red light. He wouldn't open up his window. He was on a cell phone and cut me off almost causing an accident and I had my kids in the car.

Ironically, we do have a driving school in Michigan called "courtesy"...
