What was your favorite song by him? - Mine was "Don't Stop Till You Get Enough" . I use to play it sometimes when I DJed Weddings. Never really a fan at all though. I still do like "ABC", that's my favorite Jackson 5 song. He was a freak show for sure.

On top of that, nothing was ever proven about him being a child molester. He was an odd guy, but I'd think someone in the limelight to the extent he was, if he had molested, we would've known for sure... not a few people that come out and say it happened.
Agree. Laughing at someones death is horrible. FAUB

Man are the jokes flying already. I already got a few texts and some of them are pretty funny. I won't post any out of lack of respect for the dead. But society wastes no time jumping on the outcasts...

Changed music forever... I always got a kick out of that term. Like it wasn't going to change anyway. If it wasn't him it would have been someone else. I myself was never a fan either. Old or newer stuff.

When you stop and think about it, it is kinda sad how his Dad punked the kids out like side show acts when they were all younger, he was said to be a real *****, then when he had fame and fortune, he still wasn't really happy, just goes to show no matter how much money you have, some people never find happiness. When he was on his game, NO ONE was better, but when he fell, he went down in flames. Thriller IS the best selling album of ALL Time, like him or not, no one will ever have that title until someone breaks that record if they ever do. And if history repeats it self, like it has in the past, his death will only make his sales grow, FWIW.

Was Michael Jackson a freakshow?
No doubt.

Was he manipulated by his father?
Undoubtedly.

Did he molest those kids?
Maybe, unproven in court.

Do I think he molested those kids?
Probably.

Was he one of the most talented performers in the world?
Absolutely.

Did his music influence my life?
Yup.

Was Janet hot as hell during her heyday?
boiiing.

Does he deserve my damnation, or my adoration, given the definite versus the possible?
.............

Times like this, when the entire world suspends their activities to lay judgement on one dead man... how will you be judged when your time comes?

"He loved his truck."
"He was fat as hell."
"He wasn't good to her."
"He didn't strap the fridge in the back of the truck like a real man would've."

Be careful in your condemnation of one man.

Because your condemnation of one man doesn't mean squat.

FWIW, here is my favorite

Cracking jokes at MJ is completely wrong, IMO. Making a joke at any person who has passed is wrong. He had to deal with more pressure as a little kid than most of us have to deal with in our lives. It's not all his fault that he turned out the way he did.

Say what you want about him, but he is a legend and truly added to music forever.
