Michael Jackson was an exceedingly talented guy. A great singer. An amazing dancer. The consumate entertainer.

Was he an odd guy ? Absolutely. So I can relate.

Stealth, you said he had chronic pain from Lupus ? I've never heard that before. But I can sure relate to that too. {boy can I relate}

Do I think he ever sexually assulted young boys ? Absolutely not. {and the courts agreed} What he was guilty of, was being a "different kind of guy" with > TONS of cash ! The parents of the children who sued him are the actual guilty parties.
BTW, if my child were sexually abused, I'd want the offender to be locked up and kept away from mine, and any other children, for the rest of his life ! But these parents were like.... "Well, I guess $20 million will make it okay"
So let me ask you, "Would YOU put a $ value on your child" ?

Anyway, lets see if "any" of the people talking garbage about MJ in this thread, will ever be .001% as successful in there lives, at anything, as MJ was in the music business.

Love him or hate him, I could not agree more, with whoever said > A lot of people just don't seem to have respect for human life nowadays.

RIP Michael Jackson,
Fish

I can't believe how much some people get wrapped up and emotionally involved in someone whom they never met and have no connection too. Michael Jackson died. So what.

Why would Michael Jackson offer money if he isn't guilty?

It was THE MAN trying to bring MJ down. THE MAN told a bunch of children, a bunch of adults, to come up with all the crazy lies, just to crush his image. How could they do that to such a great guy. There is NOTHING weird, or NOTHING wrong with MJ. He is your SUPER NORMAL guy, who could have NEVER touched little boys.

Riiiight. It's not at all possible those parents were just after a quick payday from a then multi millionaire. It's also not possible those same parents were also willing to exploit their children to do it. As we all know, if somebody is accused of something then they MUST be guilty. There's never, ever been a false accusation made especially when there's potential for a huge payout.

I'm not saying he did do it. We have no way of knowing for sure. Maybe nothing happened. He had been seen with his hands on kids laps, he slept in the same bed with how many kids? How do you put yourself in a situation where molestation can come into question? He held hands and stayed up late playing with these little boys, and they stayed over for sleep overs. They often slept in the same room and the same bed.

The response was "they were really close friends." How many 11 year old friends do you have? What was that, a 30 year age difference?

I understand people try to get money. But seriously, you can't possibly believe nothing happend. Ever.

3 Years ago, would you let your children stay at Neverland? Sleep in the same room or bed as MJ?

I agree, I heard he died and I just said: "and... ". Ah well, some people just can't help gossiping about stuff that is completely pointless - Like whether he was guilty or not (who cares, he's dead!).

He may be dead, but his victims are not.

Was he convicted? No. Did he molest little boys? IMO, HELL YES.

Are some people falsely accused? Sure, it happens. Do child molesters ever get away with it? Happens ALL THE TIME.

BTW, the 1993 Jackson molestation case got started when the little boy was seeing a pshychiatrist, and told him about the molestation. The Dr. felt the stories were truthful, and as required by law, reported them to the police. IMO, due to the celebrity of the perp, the police were very careful to dot all their i's and cross all their t's, which slowed down the investigation. The victim and family could not handle the delays and anonymous death threats, so the settled out of court (the figure of over $20 million was later revealed during his 2004 investigation).

From NBC Dateline, 2004:

The boy swore in a declaration filed in the civil suit against Jackson:

"After that, Michael Jackson masturbated me many times both with his hand and with his mouth… Michael Jackson told me that I should not tell anyone what happened. He said this was a secret."

Mankiewicz: "You saw love notes in the 1993 case?"

Rizzo: "In 1993 all he did was write love notes to the kid."

Mankiewicz: "How many are we talking about?"

Rizzo: "The kid had a handful of them, that Jackson would write him. Telling him how much he loved him, can't wait 'til he sees him again. We're going play on the floor. A little game he used to call, ‘ruba,’ with these little boys. It means you rub me, I rub you."

And perhaps even more revealing, the boy was able to describe marks on Michael Jackson's genitals. When police obtained a search warrant in December allowing them to photograph Jackson's naked body, investigators say the photos matched exactly with what the boy had told them. But despite the evidence they had, authorities didn't file any charges and didn't arrest Jackson.

In January 1994, lawyers for Jackson and for the boy announced they'd settled the civil lawsuit that paid the boy's family an undisclosed sum of money, a figure we now know to be nearly $25 million.

Six months later, frustrated that prosecutors still hadn't charged Jackson with a crime and citing anonymous death threats, the boy's family backed out of the criminal case. The boy would no longer cooperate."

We will never know. But he's judged now for sure.

All I can say is Micheal Rest in Peace or Burn in Hell.

Hopefully your Resting in Peace.
Everybody made big money off the scandal including the news organizations.

I hope he's Resting in Peace also.

When the 2004 allegations emerged, some of the old stuff got dredged up again. Below is a summary from Dateline NBC's 2004 story.
People do much worse things than what he was accused of and never achieve anything. MJ's achievements will not be toped for some time...if ever.

Dateline is usually a reliable source.

As was said before everyone made money off the scandal whether they were paid to be quiet or not. Do you think the maid didn't get paid for her story?
Either way, money corrupted the truth.

3 accusers (2 which got millions of dollars) out of hundreds of boys he personally interacted with and we wish him to hell?

We will never really know....

Extremeely talented---he truly was an icon of American Pop Music. He also equalled Howard Hughes in terms of money made and weirdness.

I heard since MJ was so full of plastic, they're gonna donate the corpse to Lego, melt him down, turn him into Lego's and let the little kids play with him for awhile.

I also heard the real reason he died... he ate a 5yo weiner.

Seriously though, I understand he was talented... but he was also one of the most effed up ppl in the world. Why all the tears for this man?
