Question Should I trade?

Should I trade my 1997 Chevy Cavalier (that I paid $350 for) for a 1994 Ford Ranger? I haven't checked out the truck yet, but it looks decent in the pics. Only problem is, its PURPLE. Not dark toreador red, we're talking Barney freaking purple.

It's a 4 banger 5 speed (which is what I want) with 182K miles. My brother has a newer one with 200K on it, on the original clutch (dad's owned it since new). My Cavi has 250,4xx miles on it, but runs great.

you could always tint the windows really dark and no one will see you driving a purple truck!! hahahaha

I've owned two 4-cyl, 5 speed Rangers. A 95' and 00'. Great little trucks! Never had a purple one but for the right deal I could drive one. Good luck in your decision!

Seeing as it doesn't have the dreaded 3.0 V6, go for it.

I'm going to look at it this weekend, although I was just thrown another twist by my parents... They know I want my brother's (dad's old) Ranger (its white). Mom wants to get rid of her Jeep, and my brother wants that, so they would trade him the Ranger + cash for the Jeep, then I'd buy the Ranger after selling my Cavi. Problem is, they'll take forever for her to find a new car. I think that the purple Ranger would be worth more than the Cavi though. Need to look into it all.

I'd be inclined to keep the car. You already have a truck, what do you need the Ranger for?

This coming from a guy who has an F-150 and a Ranger.......:o

What are you talking about, the 3.0 is a great strong motor. Its not the fastest in the world but it will last forever if you take care of it.
