If you want even more space in the center console area replace the one you have with an Expedition console! The area under the lid is smaller but the change area is easier to get to and you have a flat area for a phone, etc.

That would be nice except I've got the 4x4 shifter on the floor so i assume it won 't work...

No complaints except for the radio which actually sounds better than I thought it would.

It's a truck people!!! Not a BMW.
I'll admit, there are a few little things that could be improved, but for the price, compared to the other guys (Chevy, Dodge, Toyo, etc), it's the best damn truck out there.

Just my $0.02

Speaking of the Speedometer...when you get pulled over the cop says "Do you know how fast you were going?"...You give them a good guess, but the bottom line is you are always going (hopefully) to have a lower number than what he says so who cares anyway.

love my truck. my complaints are that the horn seems a little hard to depress. also the power windows kinda roll down slow compared to other vehicles with power windows.

The body bolts that hold on the radiator cowl (I think thats what its called... the plastic thing that covers the radiator and has the diagrams for the belts, etc.)... those things SUCK. The idea is simple, you unscrew the screw, then pop out the bolt... then when you put it back in, you just drop it in the hole then screw in the screw. Out of the 12 or so on there, one of them worked properly... the rest I had to snap out and replace with checker replacements. the screws would turn but not come out! That was frustrating!</font>
Where did you get the checker replacements? When I got my truck I wanted to check the radiator fluid protection level. Since I was used to taking off the cap on the radiator I took that cover off to look for it. I lost some in the process because they went flying during the process of pulling it off. Never did find something to replace them so they are still missing. I've only got 4 of the original ones holding the shroud on.

Thumbs down

# 1 complaint is Ford's optoin packages and limitations.

- I have an XL with a 5 speed and could not get a tach! Thanks to this site I now know about the odometer trick.

- To get 1/2 way decent sized tires I would have had to get the aoutomatic.

- OK, I would have gotten it any way but why on earth does cruise control mean you HAVE TO GET a locking tailgate?

I love my truck but if it were to be improved it would need:

More power (I can fix this)

Better brakes (I can fix this)

Better speakers (I can fix this)

Did I mention more power?

Oh and the darn tires don't seem to last very long!

Ok I am pretty happy with my truck but the one thing I hate about itis how much the seat covers for the 60/40 split bench cost: 100 bucks for the plain jane ones.Seat covers should never cost that much unless they are really cool.Oh well
