Howell is only about 2hs from me. I live around the St Joe/Benton Harbor area. Maybe we can meet up sometime?

Plus break the bead out in the field/ Then a half gallon of Gas or Either to re seat. Actually, I have better luck using gas to seat enough to get air into it. It will, you just have to put the damn flames out before the tire starts burning lol.

I'm just glad she told me she ripped the stem or I would have filled a couple 6 gallon tanks and brought the tire kit to plug it. It was allot easier just swapping the wheels.

I could have gotten away with replacing the two fronts with stock tires , but I didn't want to do that to her lol. Plus you have to make absolutely sure those wheels aren't engaged for 1 second w/different size tires. It can be a PITA freeing everything up first with a flat and locking hubs.

It wasn't that bad anyway - Had a Milwaukee cordless Impact and she was right behind me with the torque wrench.

i know. all the off roading ive ever done is just an effort to get somewhere or exploring places. it seems to always go like this

me "it dosnt look that bad, ill just leave it in 2 wheel"

30 seconds later....

i've been in one of those situations before. driving the old green mud truck. had mud level with the bottom of the grille. them 38" ground hawgs just gripped and the 360 v8 was still turning them so it was all good

She use to just wheel in Hell Mi - She ran the tractor in Pinckney one year. I'm not tellin you her call sign - I freakin hate it ! That's probably why she likes it lol.

But yea, branching out I guess - Like I said, she was in Livonia or it might be Canton ? Not sure, she was behind the Home Depot on Ford Rd. off of 96. You know where that's at Shifty , don't yuh?

the worst ive done since i had this truck (i got it last june) was when a good friend of mine and 3 girls went in my truck to look at a party spot. my friend was tellin me about it and described it as a "road" going down to a "field". i sort of knew the area and knew the road going to it was gravel. i figured the road going down the hill was gravel too. i was wrong.

i immediatly regretted the decision to go down there when i noticed i was no longer driving down the hill as sliding. once we got down there i realized a "field" was a couple hundred yards of nothing but mud.

once i got down there there was a big ditch in front of me so i had no choice but to go back the way i came. my tires were spinnin deep in the mud i so put it in 4wd (thank god for shift on-the-fly) and spun it around in a 180 and finally got goin and then had to turn (for this read drift) back on to the trail up the hill (and came about 2 ft from sideswiping a tree with the back of my bed) and then i just gunned it up the hill and got back to gravel. it didnt help that the girls were screaming from the shift to 4wd onward.

after that i was picking chunks of mud from under my truck for a couple of weeks.

the hardest to drive through was a mixture of slush and mud on a closed road that involved 4wd low.

Danngg, the only time I ever used 4Low is when I pulled two GMC's out at the same time and a School bus from the ditch.

yea those girls wouldnt have lasted 2 minutes with me. i cant stand when people are loud while i'm driving. i dont even listen to the fricken radio loud. i havent really done much with my 93. i've pretty much gone through like 2 ft" deep mud puddles. all our fun comes from the old mud trucks.i have a picture somewhere of me getting out of the old bronco covered in mud. i hope i can find it. i had a ball that day

how it happened was i stopped on a slight slope in mud and slush (i had made it this far in 2wd because i never slowed down). i stopped because the poeple with me wanted to steal a blinking construction cone on this closed road. i put in 4hi and was movin but only about 3 miles an hour while my wheels were goin a lot faster. so i put it in low and it worked a lot better. i was goin uphill too.

I don't mud that much, hardly at all any more. It's more fun for me pulling people out . - But yea, from what I recall, depending on what your going thru, some of that mud will cut right down power wise. Creates a suction or something like that.

Hey Brew. I assume you mean Ford Rd and 275. I used to go wheeling back there until the cops came. It's a big no-no back there behind the depot. About 6 or 7 years ago nobody would of cared but about 5 yrs ago they started cracking down big time. There is a little moto cross track back there near the rail road track. But there is also a crazy guy who I thought was going to shoot us. My buddy rolled his lifted 88 F150 on the dirt road next to the depot. Wish I had pics, after he got it home he took a sawz all to the roof and made it a convertible. Just tell her to be careful. Try Warren Rd. and 275. Not sure if it is legal but lots of people go out there and I have yet to see the law out there. I always keep my eye out when I go by there for someone to go wheelin with.
