Almost illegal

This was posted by a friend, on another forum. Thought it would be interesting to see some responses from the guys here.

Some thing I came across and wanted to share

I have been wondering about why Whites are racists, and no
other race is....

Proud to be White

Michael Richards makes his point..............

Michael Richards better known as Kramer from TVs Seinfeld
does make a good
point.

This was his defense speech in court after making racial
comments in his
comedy act.
He makes some very interesting points...

Someone finally said it.
How many are actually paying attention to this?
There are African Americans, Mexican Americans, Asian
Americans, Arab
Americans, etc.

And then there are just Americans.
You pass me on the street and sneer in my direction.
You call me 'White
boy,' 'Cracker,' 'Honkey,' 'Whitey,' 'Caveman'.. and that
s OK.

But when I call you, ******, Kike, Towel head, Sand-******,
Camel Jockey,
Beaner, Gook, or ***** ..
You call me a racist.

You say that whites commit a lot of violence against you...
so why are the
ghettos the most dangerous places to live?

You have the United Negro College Fund. You have Martin
Luther King Day.
You have Black History Month. You have Cesar Chavez Day.

You have Yom Hashoah. You have Ma'uled Al-Nabi.

You have the NAACP.
You have BET... If we had WET (White Entertainment
Television), we'd be
racists.
If we had a White Pride Day, you would call us racists.

If we had White History Month, we'd be racists.

If we had any organization for only whites to 'advance' OUR
lives, we'd be
racists.

We have a Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, a Black Chamber of
Commerce, and
then we just have the plain Chamber of Commerce. Wonder who
pays for that??

A white woman could not be in the Miss Black American
pageant, but any color
can be in the Miss America pageant.

If we had a college fund that only gave white students
scholarships... You
know we'd be racists.

There are over 60 openly proclaimed Black Colleges in the
US .
Yet if there were 'White colleges', that would be a racist
college.

In the Million Man March, you believed that you were
marching for your race
and rights.
If we marched for our race and rights, you would call us
racists.

You are proud to be black, brown, yell ow and orange, and
you're not afraid
to announce it. But when we announce our white pride, you
call us racists.

You rob us, carjack us, and shoot at us. But, when a white
police officer
shoots a black gang member or beats up a black drug dealer
running from the
law and posing a threat to society, you call him a racist.

I am proud... But you call me a racist.

Why is it that only whites can be racists??

There is nothing improper about this e-mail.
Let's see which of you are proud enough to send it on.
I sadly don't think many will.
That's why we have LOST most of OUR RIGHTS in this country.
We won't stand up for ourselves!
BE PROUD TO BE WHITE!

It's not a crime YET... but getting very close!

That wasn't by Michael Richards, and he never said it. That same passage has been passed around in emails and forums and myspace bulletins for years now. I don't feel like commenting or discussing my views on the message, just letting you know. I'm proud of who and what I am, and I'll leave it at that.

Do you have records of the court case ??? Or were you there ? Honestly curious how your so sure.

Anyways, like I said in my first post, and obviously have to repeat, this was a post from a friend. In the bottom, it talks about forwarding this email. I am not trying to make it anything more then what it is. I simply agree with the points being made.

Thanks for posting up to tell us you don't want to post up though.

just givin ya a hard time man, nothing personal.

Now reverse it. A 13 year old white kid walks up to a black adult, and says whats up n*****? Guarenteed hell would break loose and that little white kid would be in a world of hurt. Why ? Why is there a double standard ? Why when I say it, I am racist, when other say it, no big deal.

"... got me feeling guilty of being white. "
At school, we had a black pride club. I remember friends trying to start a white pride, or "causasion power" group. We were told that was too edgy and bordeline racist.

I didn't post to say I didn't want to post, I posted to say that it's simply an email that has been passed around for years. It's been passed around since Before the crap with Michael Richards happened. No, I wasn't in court, but I did receive the email! What other proof do you need that it didn't come from him in his court hearing? I'm not even arguing the fact that I agree with the passage, just correcting a false statement in it. You post something up and ask for input on it, don't jump my *** for giving you my input.

Im a mix of ethnicities, and im damn proud of who I am and my background. But the statement is true to the T. I have had the discussion with some of my "colored" friends. It really depends on the person, because with them they really didnt care what you called them because they did the same back. They dished it, so they expected it in return. Now thats just them obviously, but its not everyone.

I still love this saying
"im not racists, I hate everyone equally"

I think everyone believes this to be true. I think that because we have an African American President now, it can be said that the playing field is about as level as it is going to be. You can't hardly say that the white man is keeping you down if the white man has helped to elect a black man to the highest office in the land. If I were a Supreme Court Justice I would declare all groups that advance a particular race or schools that have rules to only admit minorities unconstitutional.

Yup, sure do ! being annoyingly sarcastic, and an ***, makes it a little harder to get it across ! I'm workin on it.

It might. Kinda hoping everyone is chill and just talks about it though. Guess we'll see.
