Its called reverse discrimination, not right whatsoever, our government has never looked at it that way though. I am not going to hate on black people or call them names, I havent met many black people that I don't like, because it isnt their fault, its our own frickin government. They waste more money on stupid things than I can believe. It needs to go back to all men will be treated equal, thats the foundation that this country was supposed to be built on, lets try to once get to that point.

I do believe all men are created equal. There are exceptions for medical reasons and genetics. But I honestly believe the glass ceiling has been broken, and it is up to an individual to climb the ladder.
The problems we face today are not problems the Government can cure. The problems begin at home, and it is up to the head of the household to pull the family up. A lack of hope is what brings about the problems we have in society. That problem crosses all ethnic backgrounds, and an individual has to make the choices to better themselves. For the uneducated, there are night schools and other educational programs already in place, and all are free of charge. There are also tutoring programs within these GED programs. So if an adult doesn't have an education even of high school caliber, it is still available when they are an adult.
In the end it is a persons responsibility to better themselves. Government can't do it for them.

Fellas come to work with me 1 day and you will get your fill on every thing from blood type to skin color.

I have been called racist by white dudes lol, black dudes, never by a mexican.

When I first started DOC if you said something racist you were in trouble, finally I think they have gotten away from that really. I haven't seen any inmate complaints about racism for awhile. Now the powers that be have offered new and better things for them, like claiming rape, and saying they had there fingers smashed or wrist cut by hand cuffs lol. What a world we live in!

Just yesterday, I was driving to the park in my truck w/ my fiance (who happens to be of Hispanic descent) and our daughter, and there was a school bus in the adjacent lane. My F-150 is lifted on 6+3, and has limo tint, so there was no way these punks could've seen what we look like, and just assumed that a "cracker" was driving it because of the lift.

About five black teenagers rolled down the windows on the school bus and flipped us the bird at one time. when i rolled down the passenger window to reply, they called my fiance a ***** (wtf, she's mexican!)

i decided to be a smartass, and did the gangster signs w/ my hands and beeped the horn at them when i drove off.

i obviously am not a racist man, as i am in an interracial relationship, but clearly the ignorant black kids were.

To me, it makes no sense to be proud of something that you have no control over.

"I'm proud to be black!" or "I'm proud to be white!" doesn't make any more sense than being proud to have two legs.

I'm only proud of good or difficult things I've done or accomplished.

I am sure that we all have a story, and at one time or another we have been discriminated against regardless of the color of our skin. I grew up in a predominantly Hispanic town in West Texas. Mexican kids were always picking on me, and I was in a fair number of fights. Why? Because I am white, was the minority, and was considered rich. Rich? My dad worked in the oilfield, and my mom was a nurse. In Dallas I would have been considered white trash, in my small hometown, rich...

Do I harbor ill will towards Mexicans? No, some of my best friends are brown. I have no black friends because...I don't know any. Do I harbor ill will towards thieves, rapists, drug cartels, pedophiles? Hell yeah, I am not gonna let skin get in the way of hate towards these groups. Do groups such as LULAC, NAACP, RASA, and so on and so forth...irk me. Hells yeah. I get a little annoyed at groups getting special attention and happen to be non inclusive to other races than themselves.

I wonder why no minorities have disputed what has been discussed so far. Maybe because it's 100% true and everyone and their mother knows there's a double standard out there on this subject.

PC or not, I'll call a spade a spade any day of the week when they have it coming. And if I become a POS burden on society and add no value or contribute to do my fair share of things, I would expect the same treatment. From blacks and whites (and every other ethnicity for that matter).

Society labels everything, pick up any job application. It's the derogatory labels that **** everyone off. no one said life is easy. That's why it's called the real world.

When was the last time a minortity was charged with a hate crime against a white person???? Why don't they exist?

While I agree with you, the last part is not true, there have been hate crimes against white people. Do a google search and you will find them.

You're right, but they aren't as publicized as much as they are against minorities. That's what I meant.

I along with many others agree with you

The Million Man March, was intended to bring about a spiritual renewal among black men, and to instill a sense of solidarity and personal responsibility to improve their own condition.
A million sober, disciplined, committed, dedicated, inspired black men was an idea most blacks—and many whites—could get behind.

I'm still mad that I have to "press 1 for English" and the person on the other end cannot verbally relay a sentence in English if his/her life depended on it

I agree 100%
I'm not a fan of information posted in Spanish due to a person not being able to read English

When I started to read this thread I was reminded of "The John Larroquette Show" when John was catching a ride with Daryl Mitchell somewhere and Daryl had a rap song on the radio with the chorus of "kill whitey". John muttered something along the line of "catchy tune". I loved that show.

Reverse discrimination has been around for a long time. I don't think that two wrongs makes a right. I also don't think anything will change in the foreseeable future.
