Way to acknowledge the questions about you thinking your truck is worth $7,000.

He'll just ignore it, just like he did when we all called him out on his Scangauge HP numbers.

That's his tactic when he doesn't have a comeback or can't back up what he said. He just ignores it.

Raptor, I'd like to make an offer for the truck AS IS. I will not go any higher than 4,758$. Take it or leave it...

I heard her say it was her fault before the PD rolled up, and I even drove out of the parking lot she left from days later and there is no way you can see the traffic signal from that angle. I don't care how long it takes, she is paying for it!
So why are you and your Dad going to obtain a Lawyer over a 500 dollar deductible?

Will one possibly go to court and do all the paperwork for under $500?

well i mean you could sue for the $500 and court cost. but after all is said and done, you WILL spend $500 one way or another. and say you lose, you just spent $500 on the deductible, court cost, pay the lawyer if you got one. then your out a minimum of a thousand bucks rather than just $500. $500 is not worth your while to fight and spend your time on if your not guaranteed to win your case

i recommend you change your insurance policy, so if you get in another wreck thats not your fault, you don't have to pay a $500 deductible

It's my understanding that you pay the deductible regardless of who's at fault. The lower your deductible, the higher your premium.

Smiggs, I dunno what exactly he's going to do to fight it, but all he told me is that we might take it to court. I don't know if its for the deductable or what. I think what NCSU said is correct. Not a problem if that is the case, I've been saving for "rainy days" such as this. We're taking the truck into the dealership tomorrow morning before school and I'll have it back next week. I'll be taking some before and after photos before I leave the dealership to show you guys when I get it back. Albeit the car is fun, I miss the higher-up feeling of a truck.

Also, I don't know who asked, but yes, I just found out my dad added "modification" insurance for it last year, so we're covered on that department. Grille, headlights, all are getting replaced.

Here I go....

I hope it all works out for you Raptor..

Its been intresting to say the least watching you spend what you can when you can for the mods you want. there is nothing better that the feeling you get from doing a job your self (like the bumper)

It would be a shame so see the truck totaled out.. after all your time and $$ its a good thing your dad was looking out for you and got the added "modification" insurance...I thought I read once he didnt like you spending $ on mods.. But he paid a premium to get it all your hard work covered... pretty cool dad if you ask me

Hope to see you working on the White Night agian

scott, I'm not sure. KBB dosen't factor in the fact its got a brand-new engine and trannie. Not only that, but sentimental value has exceeded its actual value anyway. There's no way I'd sell it. I'm the type of guy that's going to drive a nice paid-off vehicle 'till the wheels drop off.

Sadly, I'm looking at a "no-go" for the 99+ front end. I drove it in this morning before school and upon coming home, I got a call from them saying they need a website to buy a replacement grille and headlights. I found the headlights (L-style this time) but I am stumped as to how I cannot find a 1998 grille shell. all I can find is 99+
