My Ford Ranger build tons of pics

I had some requests for more pictures of the ranger in my sig and a little history behind it.

Stock/brand new in 2003

Dyed the interior black

A couple years later after putting a body lift on and running the superlift for a year I decided to tear it down and put in a D30 from a Jeep XJ

A little progress, on it. basically cut the sub frame off, upper and lower control arms gone, rack and pinion gone and torsion bars gone.

Jeep XJ 5.5" lift coils, 1992 Toyota 4 runner steering gear, XJ Dana 30, XJ Long arms.

basically done, ready for alignment

Used as a DD, 30K miles added, wheeled, broke, etc for the next year.

Things started getting boring... So

I found a set of axles from a 1977 F250. A D44 and a D60 rear.

Specs

8 lug outers
5.13s
Locked front and rear
chevy disc brake conversion for the rear

other things that changed during this swap.

20 gallon Fuel cell with adapter for stock fuel pump
63" alcan leaf springs
style side bed
front and rear bumpers
winch

Made my own exhaust out of Stainless Steel and magnflow Cats/muffler from the headers back. with NicksterSVTs help

One of the last things I have done.

Eaton M62 supercharger with around 5.5psi of boost.

Another shot of it all clean, with 17inch wheels and 37" nittos.

I just hit on some main points, the whole process has been a few years.

Next on the list is coilovers, exo cage, front 3 link, rear 4 link, engine cage, 5 point harness and seats.

i switched because after going to 37s they were going to rub. 37s + fiberglass bed would have been bad news. but i sure loved that bed when i had it. I had already once slammed the tire into the flareside bed and i had to have the side all refiberglassed $$$.

perfect example

Sweet truck! I love Rangers, had Two of them. It's amazing what they can do off road virtually Stock. That thing's got to be unstoppable!
