Bought entire setup approximately $3,500 at local Apple Store:

23" HD Widescreen Display
Mac Pro Quad Tower
Memory and Mac OSX Upgrades
AppleCare Warranties
Various Adobe Graphics Software
External 1Gb Drive for Leopard Time Machine Backup
Epson Printer
Apple Genius Bar Installations

Very happy with the purchase. Worked on Macs since the mid '90's. They are virus free, user friendly machines. I will never purchase a PC. Ever. - Og

With my monitor 2.5tb of storage and the tower my computer cost me around 1000$
So now I know a mac that comes close but not quite to the performance of my pc cost 3.5X as much. That is a whole lot of money for being "user friendly" and virus free. I think windows is very user friendly, and I could buy every virus program out and still come out cheaper than buying a mac.

That MAC above is 3 years old computer and I bet it never crashed, I wonder how yours is doing, and how is that restart button ?
I have 4 mac's in my house and 2 dells both XPS
Dells continue on crashing, so now they are collecting dust
Macs rulle
BTW just picked up macbook for my kid and that thing rocks
2.4
with LED screen and multitouch touch pad
The first Windows Laptop to have the last 2 options will be available in about ...... 2 years or more
Macs are about 2 years ahead of PC with design, battery life, performance, software usability and usability out of the box
And yes you can play games on mac from C&C to call of duty. Looks like there is allots of people still not knowing allot about macs

MACS RULE

As long as you are not concerned about performance per dollar spent, I guess they are alright.

Not sure how old your Dells are, but I'm typing this on a 3 year old Dell that has never crashed and never had a virus.

Our VMWare demos run better on Mac's.

IBM'ers get 10% off Mac's and the corp deal is better. The best part is that if you want a mac and you are given a new Thinkpad, you can keep it and go buy your own Mac and IBM will give you 1600.00 over two years to pay for it. It's a sweet deal.

You must feel like you're flying with that new 56k modem upgrade!

If Macs are so perfect then why does a website called www.MacFixIt.com exist dumbass. I heard from one of their commercials that they're targeting user groups that aren't intelligent enough to turn on a computer?
Why are you talking about battery life when we're talking about desktops? Are you serious?
See underlined: hooray for redundancy!
Oh so you can play C&C Tiberium Wars and Call of Duty 4? Lets see some screenshots.
And there is also a reason why English class exists too...

my 6 year old PC just took a small slide. All I have to do is re install XP because of my error but I'm lazy so I got EPA new slightly more powerful one. Never a single virus issue or anything only my own errors. I'll stick to my of's I can mod out like crazy.when a apple with half the abilities costs 3X as much. More money does not always mean your getting your monies worth.
